Relects testing. I would really like to know the criteria. Downward trend yes, but why? It is now a 'fact' that China has no new infections other than the disease riddled foreigners. This of course is rediculous in a population of a billion+. When someone can show me the criteria for covid-19 stats in Thailand and how this is collated I'll have more faith in these numbers. Testing in countries with high testing in the population is showing a near 50% of those tested being asymtomatic. Are asympomatic people here included in the stats. If not this is just one example of how the numbers do not represent reality.

countries that do not confine their inhabitants are doing well and above all will be doing much faster than the others.
The economies of countries where people are confined will find it very difficult to restart their factories.
Anyway, it is proven that 98% of infected people will not even realize it and on the 2% remaining the vast majority of those who will die are elderly to very elderly who already have 1 to 3 major problems in health ..
People who have been retired for many years.Well put. Now back it up with some data.

Without proper education it is possible for such stupid behaviour.
I think this is a generalization. How do you know they have little or no education. What you could factually say is that they have all been brainwashed. This is a fact of all religions.

He seems to know more than Team Thailand. There is something though. There is no mention of banning alcohol. Seems like he knows a lot more than the idiots running the show. A lot of common sense in what he says unlike the complete mental cases who have banned alcohol. Sorry but you can no longer drink alcohol as this will help stop the spread of the CCP virus. I'll tell you one thing. Homemade laokhao is back on the menu.

It has been posted regionally but the last I heard it was not a national ban but based on province. Are you saying that the policy is now national?
It seems like it's a Metropolitan BKK thing with other proivinces doing their own thing. Ahhhhhh! I didn't know. There's going to be trouble for sure. More thought bubble policy but it doesn't seem to be national for now. Imagine province where you live you can't get it but neighbouring province you can. Pure madness.

Probably just an update thing but covid test numbers same as yesterday. So zero tests. Can't be right but probably isn't much more as a percentage per 100,000.

Not sure what to make of this. US trying to maintain it’s position in the region and gently warning against too much Sino influence and focus ?
The US are big & strong enough to come out of this on the other side in half decent shape. China may in due course face wider global pushback for its handling & reporting of the initial outbreak, and how global supply chains have broken down. The EU, who knows..?
Will be wise for Thailand to juggle all these relationships very carefully for its own benefit for its post-Covid recovery. Ultimately, the biggest & richest fish in the pond for the foreseeable future are still the US/EU (Combined GDP USD41 trillion (22+19 respectively) around 3x China at USD14 trillion - IMF 2019 estimates.) .....but there are more padded envelopes and less bothersome regulations down the Chinese route....A very good point. I'm not a Trump fan but I think he's more likely to hold China to account.

And how about the widely used combo of Hydroxychloroquine, Azythromycen & Zinc?
Is this being used to treat patients in Thailand? If it is then hospital admissions, especially ICU, would be reduced
by a large margin.
I think you'll find that this is appearing to help in mild cases only hence the impact on icu's would be stopping mild cases turn severe. Also people with heart and liver disease cannot take this cocktail because of the hydroxychloroquine. Also doseage is still unknown as trials are underway.

You are missing the point, anyone suffering with any type of flu symptoms suffer similar signs they are not restricted to CV
Quite right but I think the point is if you have covid like symptoms and a loss of smell and taste it should ring alarm bells.

Google it. The link between CCP virus and loss of taste and smell has been known for some time now.

No need to wear a mask unless you're sick is code for we don't have enough masks. As for listening to the WHO why? WHO didn't listen to Taiwan because CCP told them not to. Taiwan knew what was happening early in the piece. Of course CCP who the WHO is in bed with knew about person to person transmission in early Dec. If all countries closed their borders then against WHO advice and everyone started wearing masks then this thing may well be over and 10's of thousands of lives saved.

All Thais should just shut up. If you have no money bad luck. Submarines, helicopters etc are very expensive and are vital for the nations security. Not enough money for free testing and large scale testing. Can't afford a covid test bad luck you can die. We can't afford to give you Bt5000. No money because watches, rings, Mercedes, mansions and propping up the elite is expensive.

Parking lots about 25% full and Samitivej was a ghost town inside.
We would be hearing about it on social media if the ICUs were bursting at the seams
Private hospital isn't it? Social media? Maybe. It is of course being monitored. Let's wait and see if images start coming out. Fairly sure anyone who posts such images would be in for not such a good time. Also it's not just those who need to present to hospital that has this virus.

Maybe, just maybe they know the true situation because around the world (excluding CCP figures) most countries would be very happy indeed.

Ok then. That's great. How did the icu's look when you were driving by? Busier than usual?

dude I'm not an apologist one way or another. I'm merely pointing out the narrative of "yeah but where are the tests?, it's pointless without tests at scale" was valid for February and early March.
We are now almost mid-April and the hospital ICUs are not overflowing, nor are bodybags flying out of these hospitals
How do you know? Remember this has been declared a state of emergency. The
juntagovt has censorship control of the media.- 1

Your evidence for this is what? Right...you have nothing !
17 yrs living here. That's why I say the elite will be looked after and will be being tested. Do you think they have to pay?

You start putting these numbers together and the look at R-naught wich Thailand is saying is 2.5 if I remember, rest of the world 3.5ish and just from the above, the numbers of infected must be huge. Please anyone logically dismiss this

Disagree. You forgot the elite which I'm sure have sucked up thousands if not 10's of thousands of tests and I bet they didn't have to pay.

You seem to miss the point that 'young' people don't die from this but they can still transmit it thus possibly killing someone else.
