  1. Interesting how on the whole constitutions and democracy are entwined. Not here. 250 unelected generals put in place buy a junta can deterine the future of the country. This is the antithesis of a democratic process.
  2. Maybe MFP should threaten PT with ejection from the coalition before its banned by the CC. PT's hand will be forced.
  3. What's missing from above posts is Issan is or might i say was Thaksin country. PT joins with military forces to get PM then that's the end of PT. No doubt Pita will be banned from politics for 10 yrs by the junta but the change has happened on the ground. Change will happen. How and when is the million dollar question.
  4. I said in another post can MF dissolve the coalition. This would really throw the cat amongst the pigeons. PT would have to make a coaltion with the military/royalist/conservatives. I'm not sure even then with the military planted senators they could get the numbers for a PM if MF and their coalition partners excluding PT vote against any PM candidate put forward by PT or the military/royalist/conservatives. Just a thought. Edit. Yes PT would have the numbers. just thought about it a bit more. Means PT has to get into bed with the devil. IMO this would be the end of PT. Interesting times indeed. One thing is for sure. Thailand IS NOT A DEMOCRACY.
  5. Can MFP dissolve the coaltion? I think this would be very interesting. It would make parliament unworkable or force PT into a coalition with the military which would be the end of PT. Just a thought. Of course it probably doesn't matter. One way or another the military will take control again with coup no. 14.
  6. Very interesting. Is this a junta lackey, dinasaur, self serving generals, corrupt, anti democratic, anti progressuive, pro status quo, protect the three pillars court or is it actually a court that can do something? Probably a moot question as it doesn't matter. Eventually (near future) coup no. 14 vwill come.
  7. It's all going to plan. He'll have his uniform back on and declare martial law and welcome to coup number 14.
  8. This represents all those 'special' students in the education system who are basically ignored and get little to no education. Well done Buddhism.
  9. Just another arm of junta to protect the generals and their power and wealth.
  10. The non-elected, junta appointed senators are doing exactly what they were put there for. Stop any progressive parties and protect the military.
  11. Never meant to serve the people. These were put in place by the coup leaders to protect their positions. Exactly what they are doing now.
  12. Big Pharma I think is more to the point. Mild symptoms yet jabs still advised. More and more evidence is coming to light about this yet said evidence is still not being told in mainsteam media and is still being supressed though a denial of freedom of speach.
  13. Timor Leste. Actually became a country in it's own right.
  14. As they will spread all sorts of viruses. It seems you are ignoring (deliberately?) this bit of rather important info."The first case was identified in April, whilst three cases were detected in May and a solitary case was found in June. Interestingly, none of these individuals developed severe symptoms." So very, very few cases and all had non-severe symptoms. The common cold presents with non-severe symptoms. The common cold is also very contagious. As for deaths once again you supply no information if covid is the direct cause of death or any statististics on co-morbidities in these cases.
  15. Wet season hasn't started yet. No daily storms at a predictable time.
  16. One could say it's hardly news at all. Sub-variants will keep on coming and keep on being mild and keep on being faster spreading than its predecessor. IMO we do not need to know. What's the point?
  17. Nup. It's not a common cold virus but Omicron variants/sub-variants share similar symptoms with the common cold. p.s. It's also not a flu virus.
  18. Possible worst scenario. Parliament will be unworkable, people will take to the streets and coup d'etat number 15 will be initiated. The people will fight back. Thailand will become another Myanmar. This will spell the end of Thailand as we know it.
  19. 1st step. Good. It should be so. These senators are part of a coup and planted by the coup leader. 2nd step should be invesigation in to corruption. 3rd step should be prossecution.
  20. Complete rubbish. Everyone hates Prayut and the military establishment. The Thai people voted them (the military and the elite they stand for and protect) out and voted them out in a huge majority. It was a classic landslide victory by definition. This cannot be disputed.. The junta put in safeguards i.e. senate/EC/CC to protect themselves from defeat. I have said many times this is how you win when you lose. They are hated.
  21. Maybe he knows or or thinks another coup is coming. He's a politician of high sly order. IMO I find this very interesting and worrying. If Pita can't get the top job then who will? If it's one of the two PT nominations why would he be saying this?
  22. Ah! Yes this is true. He has the support of the people and his coalition but not the support of the military senate. Complete farce manufactured by the junta. Question needs to be asked will Thailand always be dominated by the minority that sees the Three Pillars as an absolute or will the people raise up and demand change? Another coup will see this country go the way of Myanmar and my fear is this is what is planned.
  23. Protect the country and it's "institutions" and "democracy"
