  1. Had a similar thought. It's not mentioned in the article but my 1st thought was China then Starlink. My guess would be China.
  2. Sounds like a dope cake or a spiked drink. Spiked drink you probabkly would have passed out and apart from that why would your drink have been spiked? Baked stuff can be quite strong and it takes time to come on. If you don't know you've ingested a drug then SURPRISE about 1-1/2 hrs later. p.s. how long did it last
  3. Guess the vaccines are running out of their due by date and really have to empty those warehouses full of masks. Already discussed before is the % of increase. Lets for example say there's been an increase of 500% You would think WOW that's a lot. 1 to 5 is a 500% increase. Ahhhh! That's not much then. No where in this absurd, alarmist article does it mention that these sub-variants are not severe. Why? No where does it say that the WHO considers XBB.1.16 a variant under monitoring. Not a variant of concern. Why? No data on age or comorbidities. Why? Died with or died from? No information. Why? Because facts are not alarmist when the facts show there's nothing to be alarmed about. Just a complete junk artcle. Pitiful.
  4. Fair enough. You believe in God and therefore you believe in an eye for an eye, a life for a life, based on a book (Leviticus 24:19-24) then as you say...each to his own.
  5. There is no hell and there is no heaven. If you can prove otherwise with evidence and without quoting the bible please do so. State sanctioned murder should not exist on this planet. Just lock him up.
  6. "In 2020, 23 million children missed out on all basic childhood vaccines. That’s the highest number seen since 2009 and 3.7 million more than in 2019." https://www.unicef.org/stories/measles-cases-spiking-globally Maybe a focus on another virus had something to do with this.
  7. There is of course the chance you have had covid just didn't know it. I saw something a while back but still regarding Omicron that around 25% of people are asymptomatic. As for Thais wearing masks, mostly improperly or using the disposable surgical masks, last night I yet again saw a Thai pull down their mask to sneeze. I really couldn't say how many times I've seen this happen. The thought process is the mask protects them when in reality masks are more for reduction of spread. Reduction of the spread of Omicron? Nigh on impossible masks or not.
  8. As I mentioned above One dose of MMR vaccine is 93% effective against measles, 78% effective against mumps, and 97% effective against rubella. Two doses of MMR vaccine are 97% effective against measles and 88% effective against mumps. https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd/mmr/public/index.html#:~:text=One dose of MMR vaccine is 93% effective against measles, and 88% effective against mumps. After 2 doses 97% efficacy against measles is very good. Obviously some like yourself and your brothers may still get it but herd immunity should protect the population as a whole. This is why anti-vaxers and those not vaccinated for other reasons puts the elimination of measles at risk as it it still able to circulate.
  9. I guess people won't stock up pre 6 pm on Sat then thus avoiding 'ticking the wrong box' on voting day. The logic is just incredible. Bit like alcohol ban Buddhist holidays were everyone stocks up and drinks on their day off if they get one. Especially if it's a Fri or Mon. It's just so infantile.
  10. Fact: There have been no deaths shown to be related to the vaccine in healthy people. There have been rare cases of deaths from vaccine side effects among children who are immune compromised, which is why it is recommended that they don’t get the vaccine. That’s why it is so important that everyone who can get vaccinated does so, to protect those who can’t. There are possible side effects from the vaccine, including sore arm (from the shot), fever, mild rash, temporary pain/stiffness in the joints, and a very small risk of febrile seizures or allergic reaction . Vaccines undergo a scientifically rigorous research and vetting process before they are approved. Getting the vaccine is much safer than getting measles. https://www.idsociety.org/public-health/measles/myths-and-facts/ The vaccine IS safe. Zero deaths (except from the above mentioned rare cases) from the vaccine in 60 yrs from it's inception. The same of course can not be said about a recent vaccine. As for efficacy the CDC states on the MMr vaccine: One dose of MMR vaccine is 93% effective against measles, 78% effective against mumps, and 97% effective against rubella. Two doses of MMR vaccine are 97% effective against measles and 88% effective against mumps. https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd/mmr/public/index.html#:~:text=One dose of MMR vaccine is 93% effective against measles, and 88% effective against mumps.
  11. I've taken care of that in a later post. 61,000 deaths globally 2020. As for harmless as a child and terrible when grown up: Measles is a highly contagious, serious disease caused by a virus. Before the introduction of measles vaccine in 1963 and widespread vaccination, major epidemics occurred approximately every 2–3 years and measles caused an estimated 2.6 million deaths each year. More than 140 000 people died from measles in 2018 – mostly children under the age of 5 years, despite the availability of a safe and effective vaccine. Unvaccinated young children are at highest risk of measles and its complications, including death. https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/measles#:~:text=Most measles-related deaths are, over the age of 30.
  12. Sorry my fault. Meant to put globally 2020 on that post.
  13. I'm not an anti-vaxer just anti MRNA jabs. The reason measles is still around is because people aren't getting vaccinated. It's a vaccine preventable disease unlike Covid where the vaccine does not prevent someone from contracting or spreading the virus.
  14. Not sure why 'someone' gave the HaHa emoji. Just looked it up and now remember that the kids do get a jab for measles at schcool. MMR jab. Same as I did when I was a kid and I'd imagine everyone else on this forum unless their parents are/were anti vaxers. Why the kids haven't been jabbed is an unknown. Worse than Covid for kids that's for sure. Nearly 61,000 deaths last year. Vaccination for this disease is essential.
  15. I thought kids got measles jabs at school.
  16. Lesson 1. How to make bt600 last a month. As for 65 unless something has happened isn't 60 the forced retirement age or is that just the govt. sector? All up it's an advert for private sector financial advisors and is directed not at the general population. This is not news.
  17. Interesting. Seems like Kalasin will miss out. Not sure why though? Also they say 15 provinces but mention 16. Just brilliant.
  18. Quite right you are. Over a five day period 3 people died either with or from covid either with or without serious comorbidities. This is obviously quite serious. Almost 100% of people who show positive to Covid in hospital recover. This is obviously quite serious. The WHO calls the new XBB.1.16 a sub-variant under monitoring not a sub-variant of concern. This is obviously quite serious. If you think that covid which is now Omicron not Delta and has been around for going on 18 months is serious then fine. No manner of charts, expert opinions or scientific data will change your mind.
  19. Keep your mask on mate. Keep washing your hands and I'm sure you'll be ok. Keep those jabs up to date too. Very important. Oh, and avoid crowded places.
  20. How many masks do you think? Oh no! Not washing their hands every 5 minutes. Surely if Omicron is so dangerous there would be 10's of thousands in hospital after Songkran. Is this the case? No it isn't.
  21. Exactly. Showing off and then panic because they think their dying. Dope can be pretty strong and if someone doesn't know what to expect then sure they might panic. It's just ignorance to the effects of the drug. As for little ones eating cookies that's not good and the parent/parents have a lot to answer for.
  22. I would love to see the evidence for increased accidents. I bet you it would be cannabis was found in their system. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the chemical in cannabis that makes people feel “high.” Tests can detect THC in the body for several days or even weeks. https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/324315 As for adverse reactions: An overdose occurs when a person uses enough of the drug to produce life-threatening symptoms or death. There are no reports of teens or adults dying from marijuana alone. However, some people who use marijuana can feel some very uncomfortable side effects, especially when using marijuana products with high THC levels. People have reported symptoms such as anxiety and paranoia, and in rare cases, an extreme psychotic reaction (which can include delusions and hallucinations) that can lead them to seek treatment in an emergency room. https://nida.nih.gov/publications/drugfacts/cannabis-marijuana#:~:text=Marijuana smoke irritates the lungs, higher risk of lung infections.
  23. "In Thailand, Khao Phansa or 'Vassa' takes place in the eighth lunar month, the day after the full moon. The festival marks the start of the rainy season." It's a quote so I'll source it but this is well known. Leading up to Khao Phansa there will be a story on here about how this marks the begining of the official wet season. Happens every year. It's a bit later this year. August 2. Last year July 14. Yes it will rain before that and yes it will rain in May. https://www.holidify.com/pages/khao-phansa-1238.html
