Missing Canadian found dead at central Thailand railway station
This may well be the case but if this bloke wasn't sitting where he was, and was not supposed to be, this thread would not exist and the man would not have died. I think a legal case would be hard pressed to get any compensation.

You are not supposed to sit between carriages.

Definite case for the use of HUB and also should be UNESCO listed. Come on Thailand get your act together. Thailand: The UNESCO Listed HUB of Icecream.

Missing Canadian found dead at central Thailand railway station
To call out people for being disrespectful in my book is not a personal attack. Simply pointing out that flippant comments when someone has been killed IMO isn't particularly good form.

Missing Canadian found dead at central Thailand railway station
RIP is a religious thing. One can show respect without need of RIP. If by saying that he died from smoking is disrepectful then yes, guilty as charged. If you look a little more carefully at the handful of words in my post I said it was avoidable so this from you pure nonsense: "censure the victim for not avoiding his fate, ...."

Missing Canadian found dead at central Thailand railway station
So far many of above posts are discraceful. The bloke died. An avoidable death for sure but that wasn't the outcome.

Paetongtarn visits Phnom Penh at the invitation of Hun Sen
You mean dictator, but in Thailand if this ever happens it will only be the military. Oddly enough they run the show under the orders from their boss. Civilian governments either kowtow to the military or face dissolution or a military coup.

Paetongtarn visits Phnom Penh at the invitation of Hun Sen
The difference between the two is one of them will only be booted out by the people (revolution0 the other will be booted out by the military (coup d'etat).

Severe summer storm to hit Thailand with hail and strong winds
Rubbish. Dripping taps everywhere. Bucket/bowl showers with lots of bowls. I shower (real shower) for a few minutes maybe a bit more. When it's hot I'll chuck a couple of bowls over the head just to cool down. Longer hot shower when it's cold cause I do like a hot shower when it's nippy in the morning. I lose count how many bowls the missus uses and the kid. Water may be precious but it's very cheap here.

Pareena ordered to pay Bt7.6m to EC for cost of by-election
She's pissed someone in the military off that's for sure. Ethical misconduct? How about this.... Apart from this a by-election costs Bt7.6m? I guess pockets must be filled.

Thailand’s cannabis sector faces threat from recreational use ban
I've smoked many a joint on a beach. The trick is discression and or respect for others. Sadly individualism is the flavour of the day (has been for a long time) rather than consideration for others.

Thailand’s cannabis sector faces threat from recreational use ban
I agree. Dope is not a gateway drug. Simple as that. It's not.

Thailand’s cannabis sector faces threat from recreational use ban
The ultra-conservatives aka military/elite and conservatives aka PT are in power, aka the dinasaurs. Mostly it's the same globally where the religious conservatives hold the power. Apart from this there is just too much money to be had by high level corruption and drug lords. They went about the whole thing the wrong way here which is typical. Put something in place and then work out how to do it rather than the other way around. I have used this term many times. Empty headed, thought bubble idiots.

EC petitions Constitutional Court seeking dissolution of Move Forward party
How in anyone's books can this be seen as an attempt to overthrow the Constitutional Monarchy. This is pure madness and a completely spurious argument. It was about de-weaponising Section 112 so the military couldn't use it to silence opposition which is exactly what they did. Sadly the case against MFP will be accepted by the Junta's Constitutional Court.

Severe summer storm to hit Thailand with hail and strong winds
Yes it's a waste of water but Thais waste so much water everyday. As for an extended Songkran it's only extended by a day this year.

Where do you plug them in to recharge them? Can you play games on them? Do they have FB?

Thailand’s cannabis sector faces threat from recreational use ban
Why? All in all it's a less harmful drug than alcohol and tabacco and methamphetamine is in a whole different league. All 4 are readily available and only one you need to go down the criminal road to get.

Thai military officer’s road rage prompts armed forces investigation

Government considers corn import ban to combat PM2.5 dust pollution
So do nothing in this regards is the way. I also believe it's not telling them but So overall it's a far from simple matter be it in Thailand or the neighbouring countries.
-
Government considers corn import ban to combat PM2.5 dust pollution
As you can see from this map if there were absolutely zero fires in Thailand there would still be a very big problem. https://firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/map/#d:24hrs;@106.8,16.1,5.4z

Government considers corn import ban to combat PM2.5 dust pollution
They just find other markets. Smoke continues and the price of corn in Thailand goes up or is this a little too simplistic.
