RFK Jr.’s Confirmation Hearings Prove He’s Unfit to Lead HHS
dinsdale replied to Social Media's topic in World News
You seem to have forgotten very quickly that the previous President of the United States was most definitely unfit for office. Fortunately the voting public knew this to be the case with Harris and voted Trump in. -
RFK Jr.’s Confirmation Hearings Prove He’s Unfit to Lead HHS

Does this include the black male vote? Indian Americans? Muslims? Jews? Asians? Working class? -
RFK Jr.’s Confirmation Hearings Prove He’s Unfit to Lead HHS

Interesting article being that JFK Jnr. has passed this session (albeit slimly with a 14-13 vote) and now moves to the full Senate vote. A fact that the bashers and sufferers of "that which cannot be named syndrome" have failed to mention. Big Pharma, Big Food and Big Ag really do not want this man in. -
People’s Party wins key Lamphun election victory
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
People’s Party wins key Lamphun election victory. Article is not about the other provincial elections. It's about Lamphun. The headline is a bit of a giveaway IMO. This is the only mention of the POA elections that were held in Thailand. 12 out of 238 words. Not exactly what I'd call the key topic of the article. -
People’s Party wins key Lamphun election victory

You seem not to understand the context. It's significant in that he "defeated Anusorn Wongwan, a four-time veteran from the ruling Pheu Thai Party". The article is about the Lamphun provincial election not Thailand's provincial elections as a whole. -
The funniest/disturbing thing I've heard/seen is that people who have entered the USA illegally haven't done anything illegal. They aren't criminals. You just can't make this degree of idiocy up.

Well does it really matter one way or the other? The Biden administration opened the borders and not only that but were flying them in and saying that the numbers of illegal crossings had reduced substantially. There was even an app. How can anyone with an ounce of common sense defend what happened?

Alas this will not be enough to convince the loony lefties on here. Even what the president of Mexico says and the PM of Canada says won't be enough. Trump bad. The "that which cannot be named syndrome" is strong. At first I thought this was just a meme but I've become more and more convinced it's an actual disorder.

I've seen lots of Trump caving in comments. I don't get it. How is threatening tariffs and then putting them on hold for 30 days after both countries have said they will do more and wait to see if they keep to their word caving in? It's a nonsensical argument.

The "stick" part of "carrot and stick" seems to be working.

Trump pauses tariffs on Canada for at least 30 days, Trudeau says Trudeau in his tweet said, “I just had a good call with President Trump,” and suggested that the pause on tariffs was in response to Canada’s agreement to target the flow of the deadly opioid fentanyl across the border into the United States. Trudeau said Canada had made new commitments “to appoint a Fentanyl Czar,” among other measures. “Proposed tariffs will be paused for at least 30 days while we work together,” Trudeau wrote. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/02/03/trump-canada-tariffs-trudeau.html https://www.cnbc.com/2025/02/03/trump-canada-tariffs-trudeau.html

O no Canada! Canadians Booing the American anthem at hockey games

Australian Securities Exchange. BTW how about supporting this with a source or two. -

Guess we'll have to wait and see if it'll be worse than under Biden. My guess is it won't. -
Trump's carrot and stick approach is in full swing. Panama will leave Beijing’s Belt and Road project as U.S. targets China’s alleged influence over canal

Fantastic post and I'm sure this is reflective of all Canadians. They all love Trudeau right? They all love the woke politics right? Where did this happen? Trudeau heartland? Stop the drugs and illegals crossing into the USA and the tariffs will go. Once again your 'that which cannot be named for some reason syndrome' grasps at any straw possible to say how bad Trump is. Well keep up the good work. Always entertaining albeit monotonous. -
Pheu Thai Dominates Provincial Elections with Bhumjaithai Trailing

Interesting choice of image but it's the reality as we all know. The puppet master is the real PM not his daughter. -

Trump keen to blame diversity and inclusion for Washington DC crash
dinsdale replied to bannork's topic in Political Soapbox
I did the agree emoji because of your sentiment not your post. It wasn't "narrow" it was overwhelming. As for Trump coming out with this DEI stuff after this collision it's not a good look. Having said this DEI is ridiculous and anyone with an ounce of common sense not clouded by woke ideology knows this. -
Do covid-19 mRNA vaccines cause Turbo-cancers?
dinsdale replied to Red Phoenix's topic in Covid/Vaccine
Possibly. This is why a full, independent enquiry into the mRNA jabs is needed. As for our resident supporter of the CDC and the narrative surrounding and supporting these experimental gene therapy injections I would expect nothing less than Big Pharma/CDC backed articles to say this can't be the case. Bit like the articles posted saying the jabs were/are safe and effective. -
Thai senator’s death penalty drama stirs up capital debate
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
It would improve because drugs would be available at much lower prices so theft to pay for drugs would be reduced if not completely eliminated. Of course support systems need to be put in place for addicts along with employment programs. You say the community has the right to be protected which is obviously true but fail to identify that's it's those in charge of this protection that's allowing and participating in the criminal activity bringing the drugs into the country. -
Thai senator’s death penalty drama stirs up capital debate
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Society would improve. One needs to use progressive thinking when it comes to drug problems in society not draconian measures which clearly do not work.
