Three million baht reward offered for finding missing German businessman

Wow she is 24 he 62 living together 5 years. I did something wrong. -
I should add that I think a 42 yr old falang working in bkk should aim for 26-28 college grad. Meaning the family has been able to support her schooling. As in she didn't need a sponsor or to sideline. And I think a single man in isaan over 50 could have a good base of operations to service many women in need.

I am very glad I choose a woman without children. I dated many who had children and with the cultural and language barrier I think it would be very hard to every have a meaningful relationship. And the father's many times don't contribute or have any contact at all. Or worse you have to deal with the ex. No thanks. I also agree if I was working in BKK at 42. I would be aiming for 26-28 and never married.

My issan wife says after 1 month no big deal like it was 20 years ago. I think most still hope for sinsid 2nd 3rd marriage, kids or not. They see this in the media. It's kind of a measurement of the daughters value and they like to give to the parents so why wouldn't they help propagate this sin sod idea. Mine tried for awhile but I was adamant and when asked mom didn't expect any sinsod. Go have a good time. I'm sure she misses her kids and sees this as a free trip home. Asian toilets not that bad. Probably unheated showers, no AC but hopefully you will get 2 fans and mosquito netting. Hopefully the mattress is more than 1" thick. Rat is considered a special meal. Don't eat the nam pla as it can give you parasites. On the market run, hopefully not makro or expensive markets but smaller markets let them pick out ingredients for several good meals. Just tell her your rule is what they cook they must eat. No leftovers. They tend to dream up these 5 course meals with many people requesting their favorites and then there is to much food. I also suggest to ask if beer is sold near the house. It will be more expensive but if you buy 2-3 cases it invites the drunks and will be fine quickly. It's best to just buy from the neighbor lady a few beers each day for personal consumption. On Saturday night buy extra and share. And maybe tell her you won't buy and hard liquor. Just go to relax. Nothing wrong with sitting in a hammock for hours . Mom won't think your lazy because it's what everyone does.

I bet they would test more positives for meth at the Whitehouse. Less than 2% isn't bad. -
new roof not screwed down
Elkski replied to seajae's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
80 cm sounds good if there are supports to screw into. These are self drilling screws. It's not to hard to do. Another strike against Thai workers. How could anyone do such a poor job. Even on site one could miss this but also it's not the first thing you check on. It's such an easy task even dir a Thai to understand why it's important. I'm betting the worker needed new screws on his roof so saved some . Ie: he is a thief. -
What age difference is ok, what is bad? For the few posters that think an age gap is deplorable? Where is the creepy line? What if the guy is real handsome at 70? What if he has an overweight less attractive woman? Does this change your mind? I recall there was some study about this. I think using the term hedonism is a bit drastic.

Maybe store called in a suspicious last buying multiple sims. Is there some limit to having in your person? Or is it the intent to sell that's an issue? -
Video Of Rough Chao Phraya River Crossing Goes Viral

Captain is wiser now. Made me think to when I was 20 and got a summer job at a Colorado surface coal mine near steamboat springs. I had a scholarship from this company as I was going to be a Mines mining engineer. It was a mine that was a wet dream of one of the young AT Massey heirs. So 3 workers, boss, me and a 67 yr old heavy equipment operator. Boss told me to take something to the top of the long winding road in the backhoe bucket. As I'm driving down the backhoe developed this death wobble. Where it started to weave from side to side and it was growing worse as the tires flexed. If not for careful timing of counter steer I would have crashed over the side of the mountain. When I got back boss asked me if I had any issues driving it. I told him no problem. I think he tried to kill me. -

Do I have to pay the Pu Yai Baan to come to the Amphur with me?
Elkski replied to stubuzz's topic in General Topics
Wasted part of my life. What sort would post this? It's a valid question. First off do the rules really require a pu yai to be there? Or is this just another Thailand scam? -
I'ma not sure this OCD anal retentive guy could survive a house build in Thailand. So much progress since I last piped in. Sorry to hear about those plumbing issues. I never understood this wet tile method. I've tiled a fair amount. Have all the equipment including 2 saws and hand grinder with diamond blades. I've done mud beds using a mix similar to what I see as a base of your floor. But I do the entire area and let if cure overnight. I use a very measured ratio of cement and sand. I have used several versions of these leveling clips. I don't see how your guy can lay portions of the mudbed and then stop and not get cold joints. I'm tile school and all my reading the mantra is straight trowel lines. It's good your guy back butters the tile but curved mud lines create air pockets so the tile can't be pressed down and leaves hollow spots. I saw were tiling done in Vietnam. They had a big pile of sand in the middle of the main rooms and put a few bags of what looked like cement and then 3-5 men and mostly women hand mixed it. It looked poorly mixed to me. Then they tossed it around the room. They did have laser grade lines on the walls. Oh I should add before tossing it next to the outside walls they put down some white termite killing powder. The boss man screed it level. It seemed like he did a pretty good job. Surprisingly within hours they were pouring a runny cement slurry on and laying large format tiles. The slurry was thinner than maple syrup. It seemed like 1-2 mm thick. No back buttering at all. He used a rubber mallet. Within hours of that the crew were putting grout powder in the floor near the joints and pouring some water nearby and sorta pushing dry powder into the joints and some water and some a slurry mix. They kinda heaped up the grout joint. After it set they came back and polished it off or something. I didn't see that part. But in the bathroom that was tiled for days they hadn't completed that step. The lip page and spacing actually was quite good. But I can't imagine tiles not popping off with a heavy fridge rolling by or something dropping on it.

Chinese tour group apologised after causing harm to Thai marine life
Elkski replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
This squarely outs the Thai dive industry 50-60 years behind the rest of the World including Mexico. -
Looks like an old thread. In 2016 I popped over to Thailand for my first trip and planned to dive and Pattaya. I took a boat trip out. Vis was poor, no fish life or colorful coral. But I returned for the women. In later trips I dove koh phi phi, and on a boat trip from Phuket. Vis was poor, fish life low, ugly reefs. I saw parts of the coral broken off by nets dragged a dozen meters out into the sand. In fact I could see many net drags as if each night fishermen drop as close to the reefs as possible and drag out into the sand. As a person who has dove most everything at Cozumel in the 80's and lots of Caribbean dive trips I think only the Similan mounts would interest me.

Chinese tourism deterred by tourist scams in Thailand, says Atta
Elkski replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The word is out. Plus they must know most thais don't like Chinese. Less Indians. -
When the rice fields are flooded are the rat invasions related? Seems like it's a landlord issue to seal up all the holes. Maybe a little teamwork on the rat trapping issue. Maybe landlord has a bunch of traps. Of course most anima6know there way around their part of the World so you would need to relocate them far but that's just giving others the problem. Rats are a prized food up north. I tried a rat stew dish. It was ok until I got a section of rat tail. I'm sure Thais just chomp for collagen.
