3 billion USD?   So much money that wants to flow around legal channels.  Lots of Russian $ i bet as well as hiso tax dogers. 

I do think the big pharma and the alcohol geoups have been able ro measure the drop in sales.  I inow last xmas time on my trip for 7 weeks i probably consumed 70% less alcohol while in the tourist areas and BKK. And 50% less while in rural areas.  I think a pot high is more compatible with the oddities, frustrations, and craziness of Thailand.   

High of 8 c  next 2 days.  But warming up to 25c by sat which will be high of the year.  Had a mojito last night.  But shoulda been a snuggler- hot cocca and schnapps.  Plenty of snow just skiers are getting out the mountain bikes and driving 4 hours south to Moab.  Where its great camping biking weather.

Whats the big deal.   Hasnt everything driven hundreds of miles on the beach?   I sure have.  On the Texas coast the beach is a road.  Amd at least in the past you

Yes salt is corrosive but lots of cold weather states salt the eiads in snowstorms.   Whats really salty is driving on the Bonneville salt flats.   You see the locals spilling gas ss they fill yp the boats and jet skis.  You see all the grease and oil that leaks out of these long tails. . Look at all those trashy boat trailers.  Thailand beaches are a piss hole. 

I feel bad I never partook of this World class destinations fame n glory. 

Are they going to include this tidbit on all tourist websites, airlines at booking? And traveling Tat shows ?    

This is really meant to divide and raise the hatred against foreigners to diatract from all the corruption in the news..

Maybe this guy did this on purpose!  A couple yesrs in Thai jail woukd be better than going to the front. Maybe his visa was up or he has neen called up.   Maybe in Thailand, not under the info blackout,  he was able to see that the 3 day military operation is now in its 3rd year and russians are being slaughtered daily as they are sent in continuous meat wave attacks.   I watch 8-10 telegram chans and read the daily destruction lists.  About 950 die each day. 10-24 tanks a day.  Everyone should learn how drones have so drastically changed the face of war forever. I suggest a soft start on YouTube  Follow deny davydov a commercial pilot now posting daily info about the days happenings.  Watch him on  telegram if you can handle the bits and pieces flying.  YouTube is highly censored. 

 Maybe Thai's will see that mass protests can cause change. 

L's story sounds quite plausible.   A bit extreme on leaving the family and all but over 10 yesrs thats 20 mil baht peofit that could be used to cover payments to the eight people.  Dont  all us foreigners and locals think thats how Thailand works? 

Seems reasonable that a  judge swings in the pendulum effect from light skinned, prude probably 70kg to animal sex and under 45kg.  Maybe to him 20 m baht is nothing.

Many of you old farts dont realize some of these YouTubers have more reach than the major news outlets.   That old ad revenue that went to the major tv stations now goes to many sources.  

I've read it depends on many things, topics , country, etc but  some tubers make 5k USD/mil views.  

Most of you have heard of only fans, YouTube ,pornhub but not twitch.  But its where most of the young people get their news and are influenced.   I looked into it for a spell to try to understand it.  Several years ago some twitch broadcast, gamer championships or such had more viewers than 3 big US news organization combined.  And those numbers would hold for the entire 3 day tournament.  Its a new World.  

What could go wrong?

Why such uproar.   I guess they rode over that bump to fast and in drunken party state decided to get paint and warn others about the hard sht.  Then finished up the can on a sign.   Make them pay for repairs and let them party on. Doesn't matter their nationality to me.  But if I was a Russian of fighting age and ooorin just won 6 more years and is already calling up more troups i would probably drink to much too before my 90 day visa expired.  

I actually think more of the heads of state should have condemned Thailand for offering this 3x extended visa.  Nothing but pure greed  and or orders from above.

I dont think it will help things.  I think the police in USA ignore petty crimes because they are busy with more urgent cases. 

Thailand does seem to be changing in regards to non tourist foreigners welcome when reading the news from overseas.
