Regardless, would you even get out of bed to do their job, given what they earn for doing it?
If they don’t like it they can get another job.

They say they are having to pay between 800-1000 baht a day for fuel and need as many passengers as they can get.
Rubbish. Even at 10km/litre fuel consumption allowing for a stop/go operation (and it’s probably better than that being a diesel engine) and at 30 baht/litre they’d need to travel 260km a day to spend that much.

They are mainly French Arabs and they have absolutely no respect for anything to do with road laws, or for that matter anyone using the road. In fact they are a huge danger and I have nearly been wiped out on a few occasions by these idiots.
I see none of them were wearing crash helmets, as they never do, so hopefully the BIB will be on the lookout for these bar-stewards and lock them up if possible.
I’m surprised the police managed to find them at all, as they fit in perfectly here with that kind of behaviour ????

This new measure will be enforceable as of April 1st and will not be retroactive.

When I first saw the headline I assumed they were getting better at it.

If the farmers stayed at home and didn’t go out there wouldn’t be a problem. I understand they need to get rid of the stubble, but the government do nothing to help their plight and prevent the burning.

Yes but plenty of morons live among us, they need a warning sign on a hot coffee cup to warn them that content is hot.
As someone said long time ago, remove warning labels and let nature take its course.
Very true.

As long as FF has the, ‘We are not responsible for items kept in lockers’ stickers on display then there should be no problem as everything is left at the owner’s risk.

Of course I have but on Thaivisa most posters who use the term are not using it as a figure of speech, they irritatingly use it as a factual statement and, so far, with this case, most have been wrong with their "we all know" suggestions.

3-7 days for the results of a blood alcohol test? I guess that allows enough time for some large brown envelopes to be prepared. We all know nothing will happen to this POS.

What the article fails to mention is that the penalties tend to depend on what car you’re driving and ‘who you are.’
It will have almost no effect though, as with previous changes.- 9

So they’ve reduced the fleet by 40%, but revenue is almost at pre-pandemic levels. Sounds to me like some hefty price increases have been taking place.

What's the difference between Reckless Driving (1 point) and Driving without regard for the safety of others (4 points) ?
The difference is the trumped up
charge and size of the roadside ‘fine’ you give the nice policeman to avoid having points deducted.

Yesterday it was going to cost 1.6 billion, now it’s down to 600 million. That’s a big discount, or was someone going to trouser 1 billion?

Of course, to do all this during the pandemic wouldn’t have made any sense at all.
