Rubbish. Even at 10km/litre fuel consumption allowing for a stop/go operation (and it’s probably better than that being a diesel engine) and at 30 baht/litre they’d need to travel 260km a day to spend that much.

When I first saw the headline I assumed they were getting better at it. 

If the farmers stayed at home and didn’t go out there wouldn’t be a problem. I understand they need to get rid of the stubble, but the government do nothing to help their plight and prevent the burning.
