What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2024)
Pouatchee replied to Rimmer's topic in Entertainment
be the judge by yourself... many times i watch highly rated movies/shows only to be disappointed. try season 1 1st. it has a good storyline and the actors are ok. the cinematography beats many sci-fi movies hands down. you do what you wish... but it is quite good -
what about the new bungalows made from 'nano bricks'... me thinks the have all the amenities... when facing the beach they are on the right side. the old bungalows are on the left side... I agree... the old bungalows do look old... but might be like a trip down memory lane to Gilligan's Island... but they still looked ok last time i went

yeah, that is what my wife told me. how to go about renting one thought I can't help you with that. for me, that is the beach of choice. nicest one in sattahip and rayong. close to samed they have beaches on the coast too but I am not familiar as much with that area... banchang has got some ok'ish beaches and there is a kantary bay hotel here now... great seafood by the beach... if you come around here i can give you directions. 3 beaches here in banchang. sometimes, though, there is detritus on the beaches... depends on the tide. If you want clean water... sakeaow is the place

Thailand’s Education Ministry to launch enhanced O-Net Plus exam system
Pouatchee replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
the thai kids are the worst when compared to other asean countries. what is he hoping to achieve? getting good results at the end of high school with wishy washy tests says nothing about what the kids actually learned in their high school learning. a bunch of hogwash meant to gloss over the real problems of thai education -
I had a brand new fujixerox color printer. Did not use for a while. When I finally needed it it did not work. I printed less than 500 copies and it died. Sent it for service and nothing they could do. This was the 2nd fuji i bought... never again. Crap company, warranty and products. Avoid at all cost.

you have to be quick when you mix. it dries and hardens really fast. mix a little... apply... repeat. i would start at the bottom of the crack

nah man. not too long. interesting. I think its important for foreigners to know about this. If I could do it all over again i would use rock for most of the fill and then i would add a layer of the two kind of dirt i used. i used a sandy dirt initially and a very fine dirt (like what they use to make the grey bricks here). one guy close to my house did that and i thought he was loonie at first only to realise he had done the right thing. your crack that you can see through... i would also be stressed. there is a kind of cement here... i will try to send a picture here... that is very strong. it has fiber mixed in and i used it on a crack on my retaining wall. at first, on the retaining wall, the crack would come back if i just used wall cement. now, it hasn't shown up yet... cross my fingers. I opened up the crack and filled it in. maybe that could be a solution. i will try to upload the photo later today. cheers
