  1.  Those grafted bougainvillea look fantastic. I have seen natural combinations of purple and partly white, but these are absolutely beautiful.

    Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Ayutthaya .
If you're ever nearby, worth a visit, there's a row of about 8 of them.
    Some fine work indeed !!

  2. Bougainvillea, I imagine that these ones have been grafted as I think that is the only way you would get the different colours that you see here.

Thanks Ron, they're truly amazing and don't appear to be real at the first glance.

Someone put some time and love into their work !!

  3. I use the car radio's USB port with a USB stick full of about 10 hours music (and still room for more on the USB stick). And all my music is FREE, downloaded from You Tube (via MP4 and converted to MP3).

    iPod? Huh.

The advantage of the iPod is that you can store all your music on there and search through it easily to find music while on the go, create a playlist, or play randomly.
I also have podcasts on mine, with comedy, or Thai language.

Plus it can come in handy at those long layovers in airports.

The old classic iPod is a bit outdated but the iPod touch does everything an iPhone does except for make phone calls. Of course if you have an iPhone with a large storage ( 128 or even 256 gb ) you could eliminate the iPod.
  4. RIP Brucie !

He brought a lot of happiness to so many people over a very long time, not many others have that claim to fame !

I grew up with The Generation Game , as corny as it was Bruce made it watchable. Never really liked the Play your cards right but then again, Bruce's quips and quick wit turned it into a success. He had so many strings to his bow, just his dancing ability later on in life was remarkable.

Condolences to his family and friends .

  5. I had an iPod that was on its last legs, bought an iPod touch 6 and dumped everything on it, created a few " road trip " playlists or put it on random, it lives in the car now, unless I want to download load some stuff to it.
It's 128 gb with about 95 gb of music on .

My Honda Jazz has a cd player and gf bought a " latest hits " cd from the local market, guess she was getting sick of my 70's and 80's stuff !!
She eventually got sick of her cd and gave it to her brother, back to Free, Floyd , Zep and the rest [emoji3]

  6. First off, well done to the OP for making a poll on this unnecessarily contentious subject. Thanks.

The assumption is that because the hospitals and banks that he deals with accept his Thai DL, then ALL hospitals and banks must accept a Thai DL. Different people use different hospitals and different banks in different places. Maybe some of those different people do different sort of business at different banks as well. It's Thailand, the only thing that's consistent is their inconsistency.

The poll says it all: overwhelming endorsement of the practicality of having them by those that have them and a noisome minority that either can't be arsed, don't know how, live in Samui or next door to Andrew Dwyer.

NB: I said practicality, not necessity.

  7. The Pizza Company are doing a deal, sign up for a 2 for the price of one deal for 399 baht.
You can sign up and use it straight away, valid for 6 months.
A medium pan pizza is 379 baht anyway so the signing up fee pays for itself ( well almost ).

Only bummer is doesn't apply on delivery orders, which is a big mistake IMO.

So if you live near a Pizza Company, like I do.
    Like pizza, like I do.
Are a greedy git, like I am.

    Worth it !
