  1. Trumpists view everyone who disagrees with them as far left or, in your case, a Marxist. Name a centrist labeled as far right.
  2. If there are sources all over the place that support your point, why do you use an extreme right-wing source that promotes conspiracy theories and has links to hate groups? Use a valid source.
  3. In other words, you can provide no examples of "defense contractors are encouraging military interventions" as you claimed in your earlier post. Got it.
  4. Not if the Republicans nominate people who don't have a long and ugly history of legal problems. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/04/01/trump-investigations-history-timeline/
  5. Ok, guys; have you noted that Dolf never replies to posters who challenge him to support his claims, but always demands support for any challenge to his views? If you want to reply to this troll, ask him to support his posts. I did that and he now ignores me completely.
  6. Ok, first I'll happily admit that I practice willful ignorance when it comes to celebrity endorsements. I also question the priorities of those who give a damn about the subject. However I admit I was curious about a celebrity conspiracy that seemed based on paranoid speculation. So I scanned the OP and didn't see anything substantial, it seems like paranoid speculation. Iin old fashioned terms: Is there any there there? That being said, I must ask: What??? I didn't read in detail the 11 pages of comments on this subject, but is it possible those commenting might have more useful things to do?
  7. That may be the most concise and accurate summary of the current situation that can be crafted. Well done.
  8. You neglected election denial and doing nothing while his supporters rampaged through the Capitol. I'm not surprised that his attempts to undermine democracy don't bother you.
  9. Nice source: "Overall, we rate FAIR Questionable based on Extreme Right-Wing Bias as it relates to immigration, promotion of propaganda and conspiracies, as well as having connections to documented Hate Groups." https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/the-federation-for-american-immigration-reform-fair/
  10. Hardly a ringing endorsement, and definitely premature. From your link: "The Wall Street Journal asked 68 business, financial and academic economists who was responsible for the strengthening of the economy, and most “suggested Mr. Trump’s election deserves at least some credit” for the upturn. " This was an opinion piece from Jan 14, 2018, less than a full year before Trump took office and before the consequences of his tax cuts, tariffs, covid mismanagement, etc. made there downsides known.
  11. Worth noting that you have been asked repeatedly what Biden did or did not do that "killed many with his failures on covid". Like a good troll you ignore those requests.
  12. The old "I'm not going to provide sources for my claims, I'm going to tell you to do the research yourself" dodge. Why don't you provide a couple of pertinent quotes from your recommended sources showing "defense contractors are encouraging military interventions"? Something from this century, or perhaps the late 20th century, would be more pertinent to current circumstances.
  13. Maybe people involved in massive financial fraud shouldn't seek public office. What do you think? Real estate investors should make financial decisions based upon sound business practices, not the potential for fraud. Without properly enforced laws all forms of investment become much riskier and often not worth the risk.
  14. The end of the Covid restrictions resulted in a surge of crossing attempts. The twelve chart source you like to use shows that is true. Do you have any evidence it isn't? Your claim is that Biden isn't enforcing existing laws. You have provided no evidence of that. The under-resourced Border Patrol is doing the best it can, and the Trump Republicans are doing all that they can to prevent the Border Patrol from getting the help it needs. That is what the topic is about.
  15. I read that when it first came out. Did you? "Campaign staffers point to the mid-terms as proof that Republican candidates who champion abortion and reject the election results of 2020 will fare poorly. " https://www.economist.com/briefing/2024/01/04/joe-bidens-chances-do-not-look-good-the-democrats-have-no-plan-b
  16. Is it your position that the documents were not found? That's ridiculous. You know nothing about working with classified, yet you seem to think you're an expert. How do you know that the documents Biden was talking about weren't returned? Regarding Trump, I take it it is your position that Trump....I'm not sure what you're thinking. Why do you think Trump had those documents and fought returning them?
  17. Considering the attention that the trial will receive, I seriously doubt that any charges were made that can't be substantiated. Trump is sure also. That's why he is using every trick his lawyers can come up with to delay the trials.
  18. Exactly how did he fail? What was he supposed to do to get people to get vaccinated and take other reasonable health precautions?
  19. Don't you think Trump's base--the people who are anti-vax, anti-mandate, anti-common sense--contributed significantly to the number of deaths?
  20. Somewhat off-topic, but it's interesting that I know of no self-proclaimed whistleblowers who are imprisoned in Russia. Granted quite a few fall out of windows, down elevator shafts, are gunned down in the streets, are poisoned....
  21. Yet he wasn't too busy to instruct his lawyer to lie about the presence of these classified documents. "Prosecutors allege former President Donald Trump took several steps to obstruct the investigation into his handling of classified documents, according to the federal indictment unsealed Friday. Trump told his attorney to tell the Justice Department that he didn’t have the documents sought by the subpoena, prosecutors say in the indictment. In addition, it alleges, Trump directed his aide Walt Nauta to move documents to hide them from Trump’s own attorneys and FBI agents, and even suggested to his lawyer to “hide or destroy documents” sought by the subpoena. " https://edition.cnn.com/politics/live-news/trump-indictment-classified-documents-06-09-23/h_9390e2eb89bb80da5ad0665837b52359
  22. I assume this means you are ok with abortion being legal up to the point of fetal viability. I agree. I also think that making abortion legal and available early in the pregnancy will greatly reduce the already minuscule number of abortions done after fetal viability due to extreme health risks to the mother.
  23. Too bad we can't take bets on that. BTW: What is insulting about suggesting someone turn off the television and read? I think it's good advice.
