  1. Correct. That's why the prosecution of Donald Trump should continue.
  2. When a massive amount of evidence shows a crime has been committed and the defendant desperately tries every dodge imaginable to delay the trial, I'm inclined to think the defendant is guilty of something.
  3. So you favor a rich person's stay out of jail free justice system. If you've got legal problems just announce your candidacy for President and pay people to gather enough signatures to get yourself on a few state ballots.
  4. Quite a few voters also believed him when he said he had a better, cheaper replacement for the Affordable Care Act and that Mexico would pay for the wall, among many other lies. Quite a few of these voters still believe the proven liar. However the justice system should not cater to gullible idiots.
  5. Ok: So anyone "allegedly" caught illegally holding a massive stash of government documents, many of the highly classified, should be allowed to indefinitely delay any trial by running for office? Or, as you suggest, do you think only Trump should receive such special treatment?
  6. So anyone caught illegally holding a massive stash of government documents, many of the highly classified, should be allowed to indefinitely delay any trial be running for office?
  7. Trump has been talking about a run for office ever since the Mar-a-Lago raid in Aug 2022. Had he wanted to quickly resolve the legal issues he could have done so by now.
  8. Technically MAGA Republicans could try to offer a solution, but choose not to. What bill did they offer as an alternative to the one they shot down? They much prefer to keep the border as chaotic as possible.
  9. Four times the murder rate of the US, and that's just assuming that Mexico properly counts the number of murders. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_intentional_homicide_rate I'm sure those expats don't live in places with high murder rates. Are you sure the migrants have that luxury?
  10. "In a new report, the Washington-based organization Human Rights First has registered 6,356 violent attacks against migrants in Mexico since January. These include rape, kidnapping, extortion, human trafficking and other assaults against migrants who were deported to Mexico or people who were prevented from seeking asylum at the U.S. border under Title 42, a health ordinance implemented during the coronavirus pandemic." https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/-live-fear-6000-migrants-mexico-violently-attacked-rcna1783
  11. Very much Trump's fault. He is doing everything he can to delay the trials.
  12. I don't believe you are so stupid as to believe that, so you must be intentionally lying.
  13. "This evidence includes "more than 1.1 million pages of non-classified discovery produced thus far (some unknown quantity of which is described by the Government as "non-content"), at least nine months of camera footage (with disputes about pertinent footage), at least 1,545 pages of classified discovery ready to be produced (with more to follow), plus additional content from electronic devices and other sources yet to be turned over," Cannon wrote in her order. 14. Oh Great Legal Wizard, did you read the Espionage Act? "Whoever having unauthorized possession of, access to, or control over any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, or note relating to the national defense, or information relating to the national defense which information the possessor has reason to believe could be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of any foreign nation, willfully communicates, delivers, transmits or causes to be communicated, delivered, or transmitted, or attempts to communicate, deliver, transmit or cause to be communicated, delivered, or transmitted the same to any person not entitled to receive it, or willfully retains the same and fails to deliver it to the officer or employee of the United States entitled to receive it;https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/793
  15. Do you think the asylum seekers felt safe in Mexico? I have my doubts. The bill wasn't perfect, but it would have improved on the current situation. Holding out for perfect is an excuse to do nothing. Trump wants nothing done.
  16. I point out that the Republicans, led by Trump, are doing as much as they can to create and maintain chaos at the border.
  17. Really? You think that mob would have stormed the Capitol if Trump had not called them to DC? You studiously avoided the part about Trump watching the rampage on television while ignoring pleas to do something for three hours. That is a gross display of criminal neglect of his responsibilities. However you did supplement your post with some old, proven lies: "With reality. Trump offered 10,000 National Guard to protect the Capitol and this offer was turned down by Pelosi." Total echo-chamber BS. Are you deliberately lying or so ignorant from life in an echo chamber that you don't know better? Nancy Pelosi was not responsible for Capitol security and didn't have the power to call up the National Guard. But Trump did. " Perhaps you fail to recall that the Democrats opposed any audits be done (Not suspicious at all right?)." Also BS. Audits were done in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2022/01/06/fact-check-donald-trump-2020-election-results/9115875002/ The election results were found to be legitimate. What is your proof that Democrats opposed any audits? " A recount is NOT an audit, and logic would dictate that illegal ballots would still be counted in a recount, it is not rocket science..." No it's not rocket science. You don't overturn an election without proof of fraud. No proof has been found. Understand?
  18. Right. Obviously people who have crossed oceans, jungle, mountains and deserts to get to the border will see a wall that a child can climb and give up.
  19. I gave a brief, accurate summary of the events of Jan 6, but I don't think reality makes sense to you.
  20. Trolling again. He sent a mob to the Capitol and told them to "fight like hell". He then went to the White House and spent three hours watching the Capitol rampage on television and ignoring all urgent requests to take action. Only when it was clear that his mob would not accomplish anything beneficial did he send out a tweet praising them, repeating the stolen election lie, and telling them to go home. This was the POTUS of the time, Commander in Chief of all the US Armed Forces. In order to take office he had to take an oath: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay/artII-S1-C8-1/ALDE_00001126/ If you don't see Trump's actions and inactions as those of a traitor, then you have much lower standards for POTUS than I do. Right. They then stormed the Capitol after being sent there by Trump. Please do try to keep up. In what way? What audit shows suspicious results? What court ruling has thrown the election in doubt in any way?
  21. I was being honest. Anyone who supports Trump after Jan 6 clearly doesn't care what kind of self-serving traitor is in the White House.
  22. I seriously doubt that you have the intellectual capacity to judge Biden, regardless of what you think you learned on YouTube.
  23. A POTUS that puts more emphasis on friends and allies than on enemies and despots.
  24. I have suspicions you are a Russian troll or useful idiot desperately trying to deflect attention from what a terrible, unpatriotic President Trump was.
  25. Unfortunately I am not at all confident about that. A lot of votes are cast based on name recognition alone.
