I see you've had plenty of examples of Islamist violence provided to you already, so I don't need to add any more. It's pretty amazing that all these incidents manage to pass you by. Actually I'll show you one more, in case it still hasn't sunk in: Police statement as Wakefield schoolboy who 'dropped a Quran' is sent death threats https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/news/local-news/police-statement-wakefield-schoolboy-who-26379609

Announcement by Sunak outside 10 Downing Street last night. Quite unprecedented. And good to see our leaders finally having the guts to speak out. Yep 'He expressed his fears about protests that had taken place in the aftermath of Hamas' attack against Israel, saying they had "descended into intimidation, threats and planned acts of violence".' He was bang on here - but will anything be done? 'He said people on marches should not be allowed to call for violent Jihad or for the eradication of any state.' Let's hope so 'He also said his government would re-double support for the anti-terrorism Prevent programme, demand universities tackle "extremist activity" and stop people coming to the UK "whose aim is to undermine its values".' Even Starmer agrees 'Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer said the prime minister was right to "advocate unity and to condemn the unacceptable and intimidatory behaviour that we have seen recently".' https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68451333

Many of these so called protesters are getting away with carrying placards with the words 'from the river to the sea', which in the context of the war in Gaza is calling for the genocide of Jews. They even projected those words onto Big Ben this week. And they got away with it. Fear plays a big part here. People are scared to protest about Islamists because it's quite likely they would be met with violence or even death. The Met Police turn a blind eye to anti-Jew slogans, but they crack down on anti-Islam slogans. That's because they fear how the Islamists would react - with violence.

Same here. Ricky is a genius of comedy, and a brave man who deserves a huge amount of kudos for fighting back against the woke BS. I do fear that he'll be silenced somehow in the not too distant future. But I hope not.

Did I miss 109 World Wars somehow? (Sorry, couldn't resist 😆)

I go to Hillary on Soi 4 occasionally. Always rammed (sometimes too much) and good party atmosphere. The Hillary on Soi 11 seems much more sedate. Unless I've never seen it at their busy time 🤷♂️

Opinion: The Case Against Israel Rests on Lies
CG1 Blue replied to Social Media's topic in The War in Israel
Hamas deliberately rapes and kills civilians, and their manifesto clearly states their aims to kill all Jews. The IDF tries to to avoid killing civilians in their pursuit of Hamas. If the IDF didn't care about civilians the conflict would be all over by now. Hamas using Palestinian civilians as shields is buying them time. It's awful the number of civilians being killed, but it's wrong to say the IDF kill everybody they can. -
If Begum did eventually come back to the UK, she would make a fortune from publicity, film rights etc. She could use her fame as a platform. She could become an ambassador for anti-extremism, talking publicly about how toxic this ideology is, speaking in every school, and campaigning for the rest of her life against extremism. She could prevent countless young Muslims from taking the wrong path. If she made this her goal, the British public might support her return to the UK, and by extension the UK government. If I was advising her I'd tell her to go down that route.

The problem is the UK justice system is not set up to deal with Islamic extremists who are 'hard coded' and will likely never change their view. It's a relatively new phenomenon, and it would be very hard to introduce special treatment for Islamic extremist crimes. There would be uproar from the left. It's almost impossible to rehabilitate an Islamic extremist, as has been proved many times. Begum may well be a reformed character, but she also might be faking it. The Parole Board are too easily tricked, and someone like Begum would be freed after a couple of years. That's why the majority of the British public are pleased she's not coming back to the UK.

Yes sorry, I get GP and Ambassador mixed up. I used to stay at Ambassador whenever I was in Bkk, but when they scrapped smoking rooms I switched to GP.

I loved the Nana hotel disco. Once that closed down the late night crowd went to the disco adjoining the Grand President in Soi 11 (Climax?). Was never as good. Climax closed down - another victim of the Covid lockdowns. These hotel discos were basically a place the girls went to after finishing work at the bars, so for us men it was like being a kid in a sweet shop. I wonder if they all go to a new venue now? Asking for a friend...

Went in there once. Felt like I was in a South London hip hop club. I think I was the only Caucasian in the place. Nothing wrong with that, but strange in the middle of Sukhumvit!

British tourist injured in money dispute with Thai ladyboys in Phuket
CG1 Blue replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
Given that these are younger lads, I suspect the LBs were 'ordered' using one of the dating apps, and maybe they were fooled by the online photos. They don't look or behave like gay lads in the photos and videos, so I would say they expected real women to show up. Then (as another poster said) offered 2000 for them to go quietly. There was one poster on here who continually promoted the use of apps to find a lady for the night. IMO you can't beat seeing the goods in person before committing to a 'date'. I don't think I'd ever want to return to blighty if I was one of them. The shame! 😆 -
Bye bye Electric & Hello Hydrogen?
CG1 Blue replied to eezergood's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
The way I see it, if the major car companies were truly convinced that BEVs were the long term answer, then why would they be spending loads of money looking at (and developing) alternatives? So if you buy a BEV now there's a good chance it'll be superseded by something better in a few years, and your BEV will only have scrap value. Early adopters have taken a gamble IMO. Maybe they can afford it 🤷♂️ -
Mainly Italians actually. But since Eritrea gained independence they've been nothing but trouble. A one (Muslim) party state where for freedom of expression they rank lower than North Korea, border disputes leading to battles with neighbours Ethiopia and Djibouti, UN sanctions for undermining peace in Somalia. These are the actions of Eritreans, not their former occupiers. Sometimes you just have to face facts. They'll bring trouble to wherever they travel. Good luck Netherlands.

When you say 'the colonies', I assume you're talking about the 14 remaining British Overseas Territories? They could become independent if they wanted to. They're not forced to remain BOTs. Do you know why they don't? Because most of them have a population the size of a small town, no natural resources, and enjoy the security and protection of being a BOT. The British Empire is in the past, and you need to move on.

Khan will always get 100% of the Muslim vote no matter how bad he is. Muslims will never vote for a non-Muslim given the choice. That's a massive head start when you consider there are around 1.3 million Muslims living in London. For that reason he can probably stay in the job for as long as he wants.

In that situation I would always go for the female rather than the male, no matter how rough the female was. There are no 'hot looking trans' IMO. If I know they're trans I don't fancy them. It's different for you though, being a bi-sexual man. Bit of a dilemma for you. Each to their own I say, live and let live etc. But I do agree with the OP that we should be able to state 'No Trans' in a dating profile. Saves a lot of time for both parties!

This is how it should be. Unfortunately there will always be that vocal minority screaming about human rights etc. -

Surge in antisemitism in UK worst for 40 years
CG1 Blue replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Are you denying the dramatic rise in antisemitism and the change in the UK's demographic in recent decades? From the OP: "A recent report has unveiled a stark surge in antisemitic incidents across the United Kingdom, reaching the highest levels in over four decades. " From the 2021 Census (England & Wales): There were increases in the number of people who described themselves as “Muslim” (3.9 million, 6.5% in 2021, up from 2.7 million, 4.9% in 2011) https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/culturalidentity/religion/bulletins/religionenglandandwales/census2021
