Of course he is, he can't lose! There are something like 1.5 million Muslims in London. Every Muslim will turn out and vote for Khan. That's a massive head start and makes it impossible for the other candidates to win. It was a historic moment when a Muslim gained control of London, and they're not going to let that slip away.

What would Israel have to gain from killing innocent aid workers intentionally? This incident is a huge PR blow to Israel's war effort. Scotland is not London. Scotland has a tiny proportion of ethnic minorities. Why would Yousaf expect minorities in all those top positions when there are such small numbers of ethnic minorities in Scotland? I thought I read that Hamas refused to even confirm the number/names of hostages they're holding, let alone release them. That prevents a ceasefire from being possible. I don't understand why Hamas are being given such an easy ride in the propaganda war when they have shown zero signs of wanting peace in the region. Hamas' use of human shields is paying off spectacularly. No doubt other Islamist groups will use these actions as a blueprint for success in the future, especially given how the mass media have taken their side now.

I quite like reading the Bob threads. I mostly find them amusing, and I don't really care if the stories are true or not. It makes a nice break from all the doom and gloom going on. Gold diggers to me are women from ordinary backgrounds in developed countries targeting rich men. A Phili girl trying to escape extreme poverty by hooking up with a western man is not a gold digger IMO. That's more like a survival instinct.

There is man (?) who works at one of the large investment banks in London, and he spends half the week as Philip and the other half of the week as Pippa. His career has flourished since the Trans movement became so prominent. He even wins women's banking awards (depriving women of winning them). He has a wife and kids, and says they are all supportive (ok....). So he's not homosexual. Is he Trans? Or just kinky? Either way, he's done very well for himself because the banks need to tick boxes for diversity.

You raise an important point there. If you don't have any heirs then I guess it's less of a gamble. If you have kids and you stake the bulk of your wealth on a convoluted property deal, you could end up leaving nothing for your kids. I'd like to leave something for my daughter in the UK, as it's probably the only way she'll get on the property ladder (Gen Z are screwed in the UK). Property in the UK (and other developed western countries) is an appreciating asset. Whereas however you buy property in Thailand you'll end up with less/nothing, in most cases. Happy to be proved wrong - I'm only going by what I've read over the years.

Fair points, but by focussing on what the ladies might have been doing wrong (being in KSR, maybe wearing sexy clothes), it makes it sound like you're siding with the two blokes. Personally I wouldn't grope women on the street uninvited, no matter how they were dressed. Most real men grew out of that sort of behaviour by the time they were 16 years old. Lee Anderson has nothing to apologise for. He raised legitimate concerns about Khan's apathy towards extremist behaviour while constantly banging on about Islamophobia. Khan behaves as though the extremists have him in their pocket, and Anderson was brave enough to call him out on it. He later went on to say his words were clumsy, but he finds it hard to contain his frustration about what's happening in our capital. Most people I know agree with his sentiments.

Is Rambuttri Alley the road that goes around the temple grounds? Spent a daytime there last year having a few beers. Nice chilled out leafy area. I liked it. I'd never been there, but one of the mates I was with said he used to stay in the guest houses down there about 20 yrs ago. He wanted us to book rooms down there - he was reminiscing about the good old days. That was until we checked out a couple of the rooms. Bathrooms were the size of a broom cupboard with a toilet and a hand held shower attachment over the sink. It made me realise we had simpler needs in our earlier visits to LOS 😆 Does it liven up at night?
