One day i was in a shop and the owners bang khew came to sniff me...i reached my hand out for it to sniff and suddenly it bit me hard drawing blood.
So now i avoid any shop with dogs...
The cheapest fertilizer shop in Nong Khai had a nasty, little yappy dog that didn't like me at all. During the year I would spend about 80k in this shop. One day I made the decision not to go there again, because of the dog.
I started to go to another shop, quite close by. The misses was with me one day, and the owner of the shop with the dog, casually inquired why I didn't frequent her shop anymore. She said it was because of the dog. The lady was shocked.

What if the dog then gives you a quick lick on a small open would you may not have noticed?
Then you are probably going to die a painful and distressing death.
Keep away from dogs. Can't be too careful in LOS.

Don't pet a dog regardless of the temperature. How many people have died of rabies here as they thought it was nothing to worry about? The school teacher feeding soi dogs and the young girl innocently scratched by a puppy playing are recent cases I remember.
Steer clear from dogs until you can confirm they have been vaccinated. Especially if live in a known rabies area. The first question I ask before even saying hello to people I visit is has your dog been vaccinated (in the last year due to dodgy vaccines from previous years).Steer clear of dogs; full stop. They can develop a pack mentality, and rip you to pieces if you dare look at one of the leaders.
Bring back he dog-wagon.
PS: just one thing has crossed my mind. Can you catch rabies from eating dog stew? Assuming the dog was infected in the first place.

I know it has been said before,,, but is it worth us Brexiteers gathering to protest over the UK Government stance? Leave means leave; after all!
What about Pattaya, on the beach opposite soi 6, at 5/6 in the evening, sometime soon? A batch of those 'anonymous' masks could be available, and after our speeches and chanting, we could march up soi 6, gathering support as we go.
I'm near Nong Khai, but would be only too willing to make the journey south, to support the Brexiteer gang/crew/group/team.
I would leave the wife at home for this escapade. She don't understand UK politics.

A 10 minute consultation with a GP at Bumrungrad gone from 800 to 1600 baht in two years, i have noticed that the aim of most specialist is to get you to do as many tests as possible, some useless and costly, and when you come to see them on a follow up visit, they send you again to the same tests... this is what happen when the cats are asleep and the rats having a field day...
To be honest Ezzra, my first point of call for all things medical is TVForum. Put me right virtually every time.
There is more expertise amongst the members than in most big hospitals.

I live on the western side of Lake Phayao. For the past five days there are fires burning in the mountains west of my house. At night time the glows of these fires are very visible. I have lived here for 8 years and have never seen these mountains on fire before now. There have been no storms so lightning cannot be blamed.
I think might be farmers burning something. Sugar or grass or other stuff. I don't think is natural occurrences.

I find these young pretty girls in short dresses hawking the latest beauty product complete with a non-stop commentary on a microphone to be a big distraction as well. ????
I am also conscious of the girls in the beauty product aisle. I go to the next aisle for stuff and can never find what I'm after and sometimes get lost in that area.
Yesterday I was in the herb area, and noticed that a pack of Rosella was 60 baht for 45 grammes. In the 'help yourself' area Rosella is 650 baht a kg. A bit of difference there.
The store commentary was saying "attention - promotion is now" in excellent English.

Rubbish, in the old days they had to throw a knotted rope out the window to measure the speed. Sheeesh, man.
I put this to you, and all the other budding scientist members on TVFourm.
If you were to connect a string from exactly the north pole of about 1 km long and tie the other end to a man (or a lady). Then get them to bunny-hop* in a big circle until they get back to the starting point. Do the same in the opposite way - being careful to do the bunny-hops exactly the same - back to the starting point. Make a careful recording of the times.
Just so to eliminate human error, the task should be repeated 100 times.
We would find a consistent difference in the two times.
* Must be bunny-hops, or little jumps, not walking or running.

It’s 104 in Udon right now, was up to 130. Some areas are 150. Some in the 90s.
What are you driveling on about?
You must be simply unlucky. In a vortex, or something.
I'm north of Udon Thani and it it is very comfortable. Admittedly I have a fan on the go, but the air is lovely. Off to the farm shortly to feed the fish. Just the occasional bit of burnt sugar leaf wafting in the air. Nothing worth worrying about.
Too much concrete in Udon.
BTW, what is 130 and 104? I use modern methods of calculating temperature; as does most of the world.

Although I dont farm them I have a large 1 rai lake 5-6metres deep and I threw in a few hundred Pla Nin and feed them twice a day with no aeration. They are +45 cm in 2-3 years already This fish doesnt mind murky waters. Also Pla Tapian, Jaramet and Silver barb with a few giant catfish (Mekong) for interest.
Maybe the local fish food supply shop could help you?
I have 8 ponds. one is what we call the junk pond. Just about anything gets chucked into it. No 2 is fast growing talapia* (pla nin). No 3 and No 4 are the same as 2. Number 5 is my daughter's pond. "We call it the beautiful pond". Full of koi carp, grass carp and mekongs up to 1.5 metres long. No 6 is a pond with cages where I grow water lettice and water hyacinth and anything else. of use, that I can get hold of. No 7 is going to be pangasus catfish (not bought them yet). No 8 is used for irrigating our palm trees.
I had a problem some years ago with the pla nin dying in one pond. I put in plenty of salt and that seemed to solve the prob'.
There is no leccy at our farm so, in that situation, the farmer has to especially pay attention to water quality. With no way of delivering aeration, through the leccy, it is important not to have too many fish in the pond. Other factors too.
* I grew pla nin to a big size in 18 months. The biggest of which went 2.85 kg. Pics available.

Good for you. But you should still wear the mask. Can't be too careful in LOS. Also check your tap water for contaminants. Keep away from dogs that could bite.
We don't have any problem with the air quality in Isaan. Must be CM's location.

An ark? Isn't that what Noah built. Your logic that if a person could walk East to West around the Equator it would take less time than walking West to East is a misconception on your part. Anyone with any knowledge of basic math, some physics, but mostly common sense knows better. The Earths rotational speed has no effect on overland travel and limited effect on air travel. The circumference of the Earth at the Equator measures slightly less than 25,000 miles. If a person could walk non-stop and maintain a 3 mph pace, by using math it would take just over 8,333.333 hours no matter which direction he walked, period. It's simply amazing how confused people are after researching on Wikipedia.
I do not disagree. I was talking about walking around the world at the north pole.

Just been reading that Pogba wants a salary increase to 500k a week. Has anyone told him he's been largely crap all season and ain't worth a pittance of what he's already getting paid?
And Ole is really going to have his work cut out if, as is being reported he wants rid of Sanchez because who on earth is going to pay those wages for that mercenary?
If I had been a Man U supporter this year under Murino, sitting in my expensive seat, I would have been dismayed at how little effort some of my players were putting in. I wouldn't have been best pleased to see a sudden improvement under OGS. The club pays the wages, not the manager.
I'm with you Carms. Pogba was a 'virus' for a long time and Sanchez, especially at 350k a week, is just a waste of money.

Compared to what please? I am not moving relative to my armchair!
When an aircraft is flying in the air, the air is also moving relative to the Earth.
When Space X docked with the ISS, they were both going at 17500 mph relative to the Earth, but 2 or 3 mph, and eventually 0 mph, relative to each other.
Both you and your armchair are moving at over 1 million miles per hour (mph) compared with zero miles per hour from a point in space where the universe revolves. The further we get from this point, the faster we move.
Absolute zero mph cannot be achieved within our own galaxy.
"When Space X docked with the ISS, they were both going at 17500 mph relative to the Earth, but 2 or 3 mph, and eventually 0 mph, relative to each other." I don't know what this has to do with air travel fares but I'll try to explain. If you have a bowl of water and put your hand in and swish it around fast. After a few seconds all the water molecules are racing around the inside the bowl at lets say 3 revolutions a second; except the molecule at the exact centre that simple turns through 360 degrees. The molecules of water are all moving, but as we get out to the side of the bowl (as opposed to the middle), they move faster.

That depends on whether you are looking down from the North, or up from the South.
That's looking down from above the north pole.
It could be thought that if one stood exactly at the north pole, you would gradually turn 360 degrees in one day (24 hours). Not moving so fast you might think. But we are all moving incredibly quickly. All of us on earth are moving at over 1 million miles an hour.
Now back to the airplane charges. I think it's because of the time difference between the two directions. Obviously humans have a say in the prices. But ultimately the speed of the aircraft is insignificant in the bigger picture. Humans know this and simply take advantage of the situation.

Oh dear, just not true. The earth rotates at 1,000 miles per hour at the equator, so how come aircraft can fly around the equator one way at 600 mph and not come at 1,600 mph? Rotation of the earth has no effect on aircraft speeds, barring the effect of the Coriolis effect on wind direction and speeds. The shortest route between any two points on the earth's surface is still a great circle route between those two points, not a straight line.
Mostly aircraft fly in an ark, and if they travel far enough; in a circle, The speed of an aircraft flying around the Equator will be very similar to an aircraft flying around the Capricorns. But a person, by simply walking, can walk around the earth much quicker*. The velocity makes all the difference.
* A person walking around the earth from east to west (clockwise**) does so quicker than walking from west to east (anti-clockwise).
** Looking down from space onto the north pole.
Atomic clocks are proof. I rest my case on this one.

Actually, it's the jet stream that makes going in one direction faster than going in the other direction.
The rotational velocity of the earth compared with the speed of the aircraft. Sometimes, it is quicker to go due north when going from east to west* and then do a sharp left turn. Stay on that parallel until destination.
Everything is worked out now-a-days by computers. Unlike years ago when a navigator (mathematician) would work it out with a slide rule (calculating speed and direction), as they went along.
Of course the weather has to be taken into consideration also.
* but not from west to east.

As for your conspiracy theories - the UK has the same number of votes as Germany, France and Italy. It might be fair to suggest Germany influences the Euro zone far more. Many lobbying groups run the UK parliament, as happens in all Western "democracies". It ain't about serving the people.
If you think that MEPs have any say in running the EU, then, then,,,,, I'll take up drinking.

Parliament has already shown itself to care nothing about the electorate.
The last thing we need is for the monarchy to take over!
At the moment, most people (for some obscure reason) support the monarchy - they certainly don't need to be turned into a divisive figure head.
I'm not to sure about that DD. I do not know one person, back in the UK, that would support the monarchy staying after the present queen kicks the bucket.
The Germans run the EU.
EU (along with the City) runs UK parliament.
German lady on the throne.
And we won the war (allegedly).

Mr G said to Neil Armstrong; "when will man walk on the surface of the sun?"
"People will never be able to walk on the sun; far too hot."
"Couldn't people go in the winter when it's colder."
Do you really think humans have walked on the moon? Mr Armstrong didn't even know about the sun.
