lol. If she was 16 and with parental consent then what issue?
I think the perfect matches depends somewhat on how old the two people are.
So; I've worked out this formula. If the guy is over 31 but less than 50; double the guys age and multiply the girls age by 3. If they are close then get hitched. For older guys 50 to 69, the man's age is multiplied by 3 and the girls by four. For men from 70 to 99 the figures are 4 and 5. For guys older than 99 then then it's 1 and 2.
If we all had stuck to this formula, we might be with a different lady.
This of course can be subject to other factors, that have been already posted.

This is where our Barometers may not be calibrated with each other.
Mine has 5 markers:- She-ite-----Average------Good------Great-----World Class
I class Sane as a great player
Good exchange this.
I'd like to promote another view although it has been touched upon by other respected posters.
All the players that play in the PL are good players (for that matter the Championship too). We are talking EPL only.
This is how i would rate them.
Steady; rarely flamboyant, can be relied on; Milner, Noble, Drinkwater etc.
With flair; not top notch but can have their moments; Wallcott, Ozil, Lakuku etc.
Well above average; can turn on the style when in the mood; Erickson, Pogba, Sane. Mane, Kane, Robertson etc.
Great/world class; show their class virtually every game; Kevin de Bruyn, Virgil van Dijk, Mo Salah.
For me a great, or world class player, would be on the pitch or on the bench if the two great teams were playing each other. Players have the odd fantastic season, but that doesn't make them great. And if the selection criteria was the world Cup or Euros then Nobby Styles gets a shout but not George Best.

I'd like the new leader to be a woman. We have had a very strong one (Maggie) an nebulous one (May) let's have the best of three.
The problem for me with George Galloway, Anne Widdecombe and Moggie, is that they are all religious Catholic nutters.
Shame the Cons' don't have a babe like Diane Abbott or Dawn Butler even. Need someone to sell the UK to the old Empire. Get back to where we once were.

Thanks for that stephenterry. I've grafted quite a few down the years.
I find the grafted trees grow quicker than those grown from seed. Probably due to the root development. Although one mango did grow on a 3 year old seeded tree this year.
When rubber trees were all the rage some years back, the nurseries, where the trees were sold had literally thousands of rootstock, bagged up. One nursery quite near to us (on the 1022 road) had a couple of girls grafting full time.

The only other option is to purchase young mango trees, if available, and then splice onto them. And build up from your own stock. Bear in mind there are many varieties of mangoes, a couple of which are naturally sweet.
You'll need to google to find out where to go.
I can get any amount of mango trees. They are everywhere.
Just want to know where I can get suitable rootstock. Google is not Thai friendly at all; in this regard.
Want to buy 200.

If she has been working girl for more than a year, forget about it. She would be wounded emotionally, and more than likely bitter toward men. You are tying yourself to her for life, by having a child with her. And she already knows you have real money. Sorry, but the ATM stunt was a huge mistake. Allowing her to see your balance was a big no no. You need to exercise some care. No need to be such an open book.
Great bit of advice for the OP there spidermike.
That's what I did but if the OP does take up your common sense plan, he should be sure not to hire the girls brother-in-law (as I did) to go the investigating. Would get a distorted report at best.

If you have mango trees growing from seed you already have rootstock. Now graft onto these trees with scions from the variety you want. I think.....
Thanks for that grollies. Yes, I can do as you suggest, but it's the rootstock that I'd like to get hold of. Mrs Owl wants to grow a couple of rows of these 'special' mangoes along the road leading off from the water tower, where they can be easily watered.
This area earmarked for planting has only recently become available due to killing off 192 oil palms (a long story).

Open a bank account and tell her you will put 500 baht a day in the account as long as she does the biz for you.
If she does what you want her to she can have the dosh, If she plays up or disrespects you then she cannot have it.
Got to start out calm but firm.
Great, thought provoking post CartagenaWarlock.

Having some success with growing mangoes from seed; but slow. There is one tree, about 8 years old that has the most delicious fruit.
I want to take cuttings and splice onto a suitable root-stock. Now where to get the appropriate root-stock for mangoes?
Mrs Owl has asked at a few garden centres and got no-where. Either they say they don't know what she is talking about, or, they do not know the answer to the simple question.
I am south of Nong Khai, near Phen. I can go virtually anwhere; Sakon Nakon, Udon or Nong Khai; Loei even.
Anyone?

Both enlightening and demoralizing; at the same time. Felt the same way about John Pilger's film; 'The coming war with China'.
I must lighten up!! Peaky Blinders!? Or my absolute chill-out favourite; 'space jungle'.

Defining somebody's skill level is mainly based on a personal opinion and depends on what/who you are using as your datum line and where you are setting your bar. Yes, you could use an objective stance and gather all the stats that are out there but I prefer the more gut feel. A great player to me, is a player who is well above average and I think Sane is well above average. Getting the Young Player of the Year last year would support that.
Looking at it from wider view point, in Dec 2018 a panel of 225 experts from 69 nations voted for their top 100 players in the world. Sane came out at number 57 in the world. That to me says he is well above your average player. You may disagree with this Top 100 list and you probably will but that's the great thing about football, we are all allowed an opinion
For me there are only 3 'world class' players in the EPL. Virgil van dijk, Mohammed Salah and Kevin de Bruyn. There are a few knocking on the door of greatness IMO. Hazard, Alison, Aguero. A couple of others.
I had a good look at the list and thought it utter nonsense. I reckon the list was constructed straight after the world cup. Lukaku at no 41 and no Vardy. Jorginho at 52 and Dzeko at 54; no way. What about the Scot who plays for the Reds; Robertson? Should be in top 25. And Benzema, only at 48; top 10 man.
Totally agree with you Mr Bo; game of opinions. Good to be chatting about footy and not some other rubbish.

Ostrich meat!! Lovely. And one egg is a whole breakfast meal in itself.
I agree about dog. Needs to be cooked properly though. Never eaten kangaroo, but an Ozzie I know made a fortune shooting them.
There is an advert on Thai TeeVee about drinking crocodile blood. All the rage; I'm told. Makes ladies look younger!
There is a lama farm next to Lewis Hamilton's home in Tewin. I think they breed them for the meat.

Sane's a great player (not as good this year as he was last year) and we'll be worse off without him, depending who we get in I suppose. Agree the manager has a part to play in sorting out attitude's. Pep will undoubtedly have tried but he won't put the togetherness of the whole squad at risk for one player
Great player!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????? A good player; yes. But great? Only a handful of great players in the EPL and Sane is not one. Don't want to lose him though. And I've full confidence in Pep to do the right thing if he needs AA (attitude adjustment). But! If he wants to go then thanks, but bye bye.

I agree with you but theres a problem, those that are spearheading change politically are the same class as those they want to oust, indeed sometimes even worse.
Well it should, IMO, have been Corbyn spearheading change. He was always anti a federal Europe, at least he was when I knew him.
The Brexit party is a vehicle for change. The people who believe in democracy have no-one else to turn to. Personally, I think UKIP is finished as any force, so Brexit is the new-kid-on-the-block and flavour of the month. We will have to see if their momentum carries on through to Peterborough and beyond.

That's why the system has to be smashed. Starting with the House of Lords. The voting system needs to change and the BBC must go.
Most of the career politicians are in the business to serve themselves; not the wonderful UK people. Brexit is the best thing to have taken place in my lifetime. A chance for the people to have their say. They have spoken once, and the establishment needs to wake up and smell the coffee (or tea).
It is time people of the world. Unite! We have the power Do not stand alone, do not fear, do not despair; the enemy is the establishment with their arms, patience and long memories.

2018/2019 finishing positions: posted early August 2018
Let's have a look at how the predictions went.
01 City
02 Pool
03 Chelski
04 Super Spurs
05 Toffees
06 Man U
07 Palace
08 Gunners
09 Leicester
10 Watford
11 Burnley
12 WHU
13 Wolves
14 Fulham
15 Cherries
16 Newcastle
17 Saints
18 Seagulls
19 Cardiff
20 HuddersfieldThe first 4 OK, but I got carried away with Everton and Palace. Thought both would do better. Got Watford and Wolves roughly right but 'round the wrong way.
I thought Fulham let themselves down. They were as good as Wolves in the Championship and went and bought a load of 'journeymen'. Predicted both Huddersfield and Cardiff to go down.
A great season, with the top two keeping us on edge until the last couple of matches.
As for the promoted next season; well after half-a-dozen games in the Championship last year. Leeds and Boro looked nailed on to go up. Both just blew it. Norwich, Sheff U and one of the Midlanders to do battle with the top brass. Tough league that Championship. Perhaps all 3 could keep up.
Next prediction; August 2019.

Just make it illegal to criticise or protest and your almost there. The citizenry are already educated from birth not to talk about certain subjects and to maintain a rigid silence rather than speak up. Its not easy but the system has been perfected where a small unique portion of the population are completely dominant over the majority and yet no-one is brave enough to speak out.
We TVForum members are having a bit of a say (sure they are reading the posts), and also the English/Thai papers. It seems like water off a duck's back though.
For me, three of the most important things in life are truth, love and hope. Vanishing fast in many corners of the globe, but hardly ever got out the blocks in LOS (and not likely to).

I think the real test of the Brexit party will be the Posh by-election. By then they will have gained virtually all the euro seats and will have some policies to their name.
Once the party puts some policy meat on the bones, so to speak, we will get a better idea if Nigel will be a future PM.
The Con's seem to be split and as for Labour; I don't think 'Momentum' are doing themselves any favours by criticizing everyone but failing to say what they themselves will do.

I think there is a lot more to this than is being reported. When Nigel was interviewed by that leftie Andrew Marr, his rating jumped up remarkably within hours of the programme being aired. It was good business for the Brexit party; that nonsense interview. This milk-shake incident is similar. No harm done except that a few thousand people more joined the Brexit party. The English are a melancholy lot. Always supporting the underdog and the hard-done-by. Could it have been a spoof attack?
In a recent poll more than 50% of the English wanted the indians to win. In the US 90% wanted the cowboys to come out on top.

I wonder what your reaction would be if someone walked up to you on the street and threw milk over you? I'm sure you'd find it all very amusing, right?
It's childish and pretty offensive behaviour from someone who cannot accept they lost a democratic vote.
Well!! I'm with you on this JonnyF. Simply pointing out the things that could happen when thugs get these violent thoughts in their little heads.
I have to say though, I think any eggs should be de-shelled before throwing. Eggshell in the eye could be life-changing.
And as a footnote; it has happened to me, but worse than a milkshake. A cat!!
