  1. It has been my experience, that the longer I'm here, the better the attempts at western food taste.
  2. Well, the mattress covers from the US will not fit correctly, the mattresses are not the same size.
  3. I ordered a bottle in front of me but ended up with a frontal lobotomy.
  4. Whay would an old guy be needing mattress protector anyway? Enquiring minds want to know!
  5. Incidentally, fitted sheets and mattress covers sold in the US will likely not fit a Thai mattress correctly anyway, so you are lucky you did not order it.
  6. Why is it unfair when you are expected to pay your fair share? Retailers in Thailand have to pay the duties on imported products, yet you think you should be able to circumvent the taxes, effectively cheating the Thai people. How is that fair?
  7. We do have Amazon here, don't blame me because you can't afford to use them.
  8. I think Ukraine has an uphill battle against Russia, and it has been my position that without NATO boots on the ground, they will not get their pre-2014 borders back. That said, the Berlin Wall falling in '89 was quite a surprise to many.
  9. Or drifting competition
  10. 2014. I do not see them on any newer cars.
  11. The low center of gravity is indeed an advantage. Are there any organized electric motor sports going yet? That would be a great way to promote them.
  12. Obviously. How would you rate Prime Burger?
  13. What are you, a leftist? Bedding made in Thailand supports the factory owners, the factory workers, the distribution network owners, the distribution network workers, the wholesaler owner, the wholesaler workers, the retail owners, the retail workers, and they all pay taxes. The bedding you want to buy on Amazon pays none of those people, and none of those taxes. Most of the bedding that is made in Thailand is inexpensive. If you want hi-so imported sheets, or sheets made from imported fabric, you have to pay for them, and a big chunk of that will be taxes.
  14. So you think giving a puppy to a child that is accompanied by his parent is a bad. No doubt is to round them all up and kill them.
  15. Most of the washed-out plates I see are from the year of the defective plates, I have not seen any plates painted over. The annual registration is in the windshield, and if you let that expire, at least in Bangkok, you will be stopped at some point. If the police could shake you down for washed-out/painted over plates, they would be.
  16. Get a few ceiling fans, they move a lot more air and lover speed and turn the air much better than floor/wall fans. If you have the windows open, insulation would just be a waste of money. Shade, open windows, good screens, ceiling fans.
  17. Not only bedding, but all textiles are high duty, because Thailand has a large textile industry to protect.
  18. My kid loves A & W, we used to hit the one at Siam Square now and them.
