Bedding made in Thailand supports the factory owners, the factory workers, the distribution network owners, the distribution network workers, the wholesaler owner, the wholesaler workers, the retail owners, the retail workers, and they all pay taxes. The bedding you want to buy on Amazon pays none of those people, and none of those taxes. Most of the bedding that is made in Thailand is inexpensive. If you want hi-so imported sheets, or sheets made from imported fabric, you have to pay for them, and a big chunk of that will be taxes.

Most of the washed-out plates I see are from the year of the defective plates, I have not seen any plates painted over.
