NY judge issues gag order on Trump in hush money trial
Yellowtail replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Will you accept it is and admit it was all BS if he is not convicted? I think the charges are made up. If he is convicted, and it went to the US Supreme Court and was upheld, I would accept it. -

Why does he belong in jail if he has not been convicted of anything? No, it's largely the press prosecuting him. You already think he's guilty, and were you a juror, you'd swear you could be unbiased and just sit through the trial waiting to vote to convict. -

For 34 counts of falsifying business records to cover up the payment. Hilarious. -

Do you not think people that lie under oath to Congress should be prosecuted? Yet of course Trump was in charge of accountancy details, right? Then if Trump had his lawyer make the payment because he did not want to have his wife and family embarrassed, the case should be dismissed, correct?

NY judge issues gag order on Trump in hush money trial
Yellowtail replied to Social Media's topic in World News
As I understand it, the state has to prove that the payments were made only because of the election, not simply that the election was considered in the decision to make the payment. If Trump made the payment because of the election and because it would embarrass he and his family, the state's case is out the window. I do not doubt that the NDA came about because of the election, but the elections was likely not the only reason Trump had for wanting to keep it quiet. But again, the alleged "crime" is charging the payment for entering into an NDA to a business account rather than the campaign. Woo-hoo, get Trump! All that said, I assume the left convicts Trump. -

McCabe lied under oath. The Clinton and the Obama campaigns were fined, and the DNC was fined. Now you can argue that Clinton and Obama are not their campaigns, but then you want to turn around and claim that Trump is his campaign.

Has Biden cut off Israel yet? If not what's the hold up? I know he's trying to oust Bibi, but that might be a waste of time. -

Is it you position that they were only used for the 2020 election (and worse) to undermine Trump's presidency? -
You're hilarious. You asked me to provide examples of leftists that committed perjury and or election finance violations that were not prosecuted and I provided three. 1. Andrew McCabe for lying under oath. 2. Hillary Clinton for campaign finance violations. 3. Barack Obama for campaign finance violations. Then you went on the brag about how Biden has weaponized the justice department. Now, you are claiming that "...only a Trump supporter would claim that McCabe committed perjury when he was never even charged with perjury." You ask for examples of leftists that committed perjury and or election finance violations that were not prosecuted, and then I provide examples, you say they don't count because the liars and cheaters were not charged. You can pretend otherwise, but Andrew McCabe clearly lied under oath, and both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton violated campaign finance laws. And of course, the leftists all claim Trump is a rapist, even though he has never been indicted, much less convicted of rape. How funny is that?

Need to paint house exterior - which paint? where from?
Yellowtail replied to Niltava's topic in DIY Forum
Virtually all paint brands have A, B & C quality paint lines. What line you select depends on how well you prepare the surface. 1. If you're going to just broom it off and paint, go with the cheapest line. 2. If you're going to rinse the surface and maybe do a bit of scraping and filling, go with the mid-priced line. 3. If you're going to scrub the surface, scrape, fill, spot-sand, prime, and them fill, scrape and spot-sand again and then spot-prime, go with the premium. Don't waste money on expensive paint for a poorly prepared surface. That said, a thin, solvent based primer will help finish paint stick to even poorly prepared surfaces, so it is always worth using. -

Trump says abortion law should be determined by states
Yellowtail replied to Social Media's topic in World News
What is a significant minority? It's hard for me to believe that 20-30% of people in the US support mutilating children's genitals and or providing puberty blockers that often result in serialization and or never having any sexual function. So agree late-term abortions should be banned, correct? How do you define late term? Available here: Abortion after 26 weeks - Dupont Clinic | Gynecology & Reproductive Health | Washington DC You are wrong. It links to the "full text" of the article, which is pretending to be a "scientific study". Please post some up some of the data sets and I will happily apologize, but you can't, because articles like this are tyically long on rhetoric, and short on facts and data. So, because a boy that thinks he's a girl does not enjoy sex with a girl, you believe that "...a significant minority..." of Americans support putting him on puberty blockers that often result in serialization and or never having any sexual function, and cutting off his penis, correct? How so? I think it is you just dodging honest debate. When discussing "gender affirming care" for children, you claimed: "...freedom means individuals being able to do what the <deleted> they want so long as they're not harming others...", how are the things I listed any different? If you support a boy having his penis cut off, why would you draw the line at getting tattoos? How does a kid getting tatted up, smoking or shooting heroin harm others? No, I do not " observe the sophistry, contradiction and hypocrisy...", please explain it to me. But you can't, so you'll just saw the same thing over and or call me stupid. How is it a non sequitur? You can't explain it, because it's not true. There are things I would not typically support, that may be even illegal that I would support under extraordinary circumstances. That is how I see a later term abortion. Environmental? -

It does not surprise me that you do not understand the difference, it is pretty complicated. A consulate is where you would go to replace your passport, or some other citizen service. An embassy is where the Ambassador has you over for drinks.
