  1. Unlike Biden and Clinton, Trump did not steal classifies documents. He took them legally, and was in a dispute about returning them. Yes, I think it's political.
  2. No, I never said that he was innocent, that would just be you making stuff up. What I have said is that the prosecutions are politically motivated. I do not think he raped the (now rich and famous has-been) woman that claimed he did. That said, I would not be too surprised if he banged her in the dressing room. Thank you. I bet you can't name ten of the ninety-one indictments against Trump.
  3. So how long do you think Hamas should wait to release the hostages?
  4. Did you not notice the second link showing that world sales growth for EVs in 2023 was about half what it was in in 2022? Thailand does not apply tariffs? So why does a top-spec Posche 911 cost $760,000 in Thailand, but $187K in the US? Seems like very little upside for such a catastrophic down-side potential for Toyota to be involved in something like this. That employees earn considerably more, state and federal workplace safety standards have to be met, state and federal environmental standards have to be complied with, and they develop their own technology may have something to do with Tesla's smaller margins.
  5. Well, did Hamas not say that they would abide the ICJ? Yes Hamas was ordered by ICJ to release the hostages with no preconditions immediately, and they have not. So yes, they are liars.
  6. What federal policies have moved to the right in the US?
  7. Most Democrats (and Republicans) are centrist. While both parties have moved left, the Democrat party leadership has moved much further left.
  8. "Decent" also depends on how long you are here. Before I moved to Thailand, I could count on my hands the number of times I had eaten at McDonald's, and on one hand Sizzler. After a few years Mickie's is not that bad and Sizzler (as long as you don't order beef) is a downright treat. Forgot Pizza Hut and Domino's...
  9. The growth does not seem to be exponential the way that I understand exponential. "In 2023, the EV share of the total U.S. vehicle market was 7.6%, according to Kelley Blue Book estimates. That is up from 5.9% in 2022. EV sales in the fourth quarter set a record for both volume and share: 317,168 and 8.1%, respectively. And while records were set, the oft-reported slowdown is real." A Record 1.2 Million EVs Were Sold in the U.S. in 2023, According to Estimates from Kelley Blue Book - Cox Automotive Inc. (coxautoinc.com) "LONDON, Jan 11 (Reuters) - Global sales of fully electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs) rose 31% in 2023, down from 60% growth in 2022, according to market research firm Rho Motion." global ev sales growth 2023 - Google Search
  10. So, all non-Chinese automobile manufacturers, EV and ICEVS are facing an existential threat, correct? What was the point of singling out Toyota? Again, what truth about EVs are they trying to obfuscate?
  11. I usually buy my sheets in the US and bring or ship them to Thailand.
  12. In the case of Kamala Harris, it was to make the left look inclusive by her being a "black" woman.
  13. What truth about EVs are they trying to obfuscate? What existential threat is Toyota facing?
  14. My wife and kid got back, I got stuck in California for five months. I came back to Thailand and did the fourteen-day quarantine.
  15. Well, the ruling called for them to release the hostages, and they have not, so clearly, they are liars.
  16. So, the ICJ's position is the same as the Biden Administration's, keep fighting, be more careful. The ICJ also called for Hamas/Palestine to release the hostages immediately. Have they complied yet? Why should Israel comply if Hamas does not?
  17. Better hurry, four's coming out in a couple weeks. I might watch the first three over.
  18. Apparently, the prosecutor and judge used to be work for the same firm and are (alleged) to have something of a history. How funny is that? Sorry, I think this is in one of the other BS cases.
  19. I was visiting the US with my family right before covid. We were in Florida for a cruise, that ultimately got cancelled, at 01:00 the morning of departure. Ended up spending almost two weeks in Orlando with most all the parks closed. Went to Moss Park and did cookouts almost every day. Burgers and sausages most every day.
  20. Yes, it's almost like it would be in the Palestinian's best interest to quit calling for the eradication of the Jews.
  21. Publix has (or at least had) some beautiful markets. I loved the neon fronts. I little rich for my blood though, I was more a Winn-Dixie guy. Remember the Eight O'clock Bean coffee grinders?
  22. How does taking never Trumpers hurt the GOP? It would just stop them from voting for Biden, or at all.
  23. In all fairness, the only clear job requirements were black, and women. She's half black and (per Willie Brown) all women.
