I thought Yankie was a BBC contributor, and that Yankee (what American Indians called the British) was an American. In the US "Yanks" are from the northeast. So, if you're in the south, when you meet someone from the north, you might say, oh, you're a yank? Well yank on this... All that said, it is a shame how US movies and TV has all turned to crap. -
No, but it is, per the OP, a beauty pageant. I don't doubt they also judge on wokeness and whatnot. Look at this photo. This is not IMO a beautiful trans woman.
