It's not a simple question, it's a silly question. Asking if buying a condo is a good investment, is like asking if renting is a good investment. To be clear, renting is an investment. And a lot depends on how you define "a good investment", and what your situation is. There are condos today that will turn out to be great investments, condos that will turn out to be good investments, and condos that turn out to be bad investments.
