  1. I had Cigna through my last employer for probably ten years, and it was great. Bumrungrad was one of their "in network" facilities and they paid every claim I filed. Trying to get the direct-pay to work was a PITA as was trying to get stuff pre-approved. I gave up on that after the first year and just sent the bills in for reimbursement. I would pay the bills with my US credit card which had no foreign transaction fees and cash-back, and the exchange rate Cigna used was such that I made 2-3% on every bill....
  2. The last company I worked for had over 100,000 employee and self-insured. If you have enough savings to cover most any medical expense you may have without too much difficulty it makes sense, if you don't it does not. I think if you're in Thailand and have several million Baht you can spend and still be financially secure, it can make sense.
  3. What are the chances someone that swears they know something they can't know is going to pay a bet?
  4. The truck looks like it is about at a ninety, the trailer not so much.
  5. Not if it thinks it's a woman.
  6. He could have just been sitting on the rail an fallen when he tried to get down. Stranger things have happened.
  7. If you work, does your employer not take care of your visa? Mine always did. but I have to do it myself since I retired. I don't see anything wrong with people using an agent.
  8. Oh please, I suggested he get the C of R because I assumed he would help him. Others have claimed the opened an account without it, and you as much as called them a liar, just like you did me when you said I did not get my DL without a CR. You said it was impossible but in fact you had never even tried it. And at that time, you claimed it was because it different everywhere, yet here you are insisting it's the same everywhere regarding opening bank accounts. The last bank account I opened was with Krunsri and I used my pink ID and no C of R. If dude can get a C of R he should try to get one, but there is no harm in trying to open an account if he can't.
  9. Under the carport, not under the ground...
  10. When was the last time you tried it? Oh, that's right, never.
  11. I bet you had to dress smartly, be respectful, and smile though, admit it!!!!
  12. Using agents to circumvent the law is not legal. Using an agent to do the legwork is not illegal.
  13. Yes, everyone knows only straight guys like ladyboys.
  14. Hooters to get the wife to sign?
  15. Okay, you did not understand the question. That's fair.
  16. No. I asked; Could someone not be from any number of places and still be British? You answered (correctly) yes, but then went on to use (incorrectly) second and third generations as examples of people "from" somewhere else, they are not.
  17. Yes, we would not want to wake up the water tanks under the roof!
  18. Yes, everyone hates corruption until it's convenient for them.
  19. The way the current administration is bending over for China I would not worry about that any time soon.
  20. Second or third generations would not be "from" somewhere else, they would be from Briton. S
  21. That's what I thought, thanks!
  22. Do you have a picture of it?
  23. Are you trying to argue it is hotter standing in the shade than in the sun? There will be no walls, and nothing parked underneath but water tanks. In any event, there will be solar panels shading the roof, did you read the OP?
