  1. Being a beer bar owner takes a toll on an healthy mind and body! If you have mental and health challenges from before, and socially awkward, bar life might not be your thing. You also need to have very little or no emphasis with girls and their families, as well stay out of other mens business when they are in love with your the girls. Talk politics and religion and world problems on repeat night after night to make sure you keep your regulars who make your bar look busy.
  2. I know one educated intelligent bar/restaurant hotel owner, but he is not dealing with cheap girlie beer bars. And he survived covid keeping most of his staff.
  3. I guess some think thats exiting
  4. I do not believe thats true. Its rather the most expensive beer, or hard work for a cheap beer. Never seen a successful foreign owned bar without an co owner (foreigner) who work hard to be on top of everything. By the way, what kind of bar do op had in mind?
  5. She gets what every good wife deserves! Do not worry about that!
  6. I had once a heads up from my dr I had high sugar in my blood, but truth is, I was healthy, working out regulary, and most likely had a big fat meal the day before my bloodtests, and therefor my cholestrol was a bit in the high end to. Everyone who push 50 or more, is likely to have any underlying condition, that can show up on one or two bloodtests before everything normalize again.
  7. Exactly what I found back then as well, and the web page information stinks, as well the replies from their agent on fb trying to spam every asian forum back then. Not to mention the CO of the company answer to some few of the reviews from the clients. Unprofessional
  8. You can have whatever visa you want, for me it is easier to continue renewing my retirement visa
  9. Good for you, but I wouldnt recemond WRL for my best friend!
  10. Pink glasses cover pretty much everything
  11. In a sober discussion, this sounds plausible and should be counted as world politics cause and counter actions, but for some her, nope
  12. If you transfor 800k first year, and you spend half of it, then it is only 400 to top up for next visa renewal. I have now renewal at a time I most likely always will be there, and this year I will only spend 4 months in Thailand total, so 800k should not be to difficult to maintain there. Also a good security asset just in case.
  13. I thought once a year is normal for people above 50?
  14. Whatever territory Putin holds for now, it doesn't matter until the war is over, and peace has been signed. . So Putin has so far won nothing!
  15. What about the Ukrainian lives? Do you belive only 35k ukrainian soldiers have lost their lives?
  16. To late for that, Putin need to withdraw his troops, then we are talking peace! Putin can not win, but neither can Ukraine! Simple as that this is a trench war!
  17. well, if true, not sure I would had either of them, and for sure not both. Not my style. When I was a teenager, I did dream about some of my gf mothers, but later 😄 nope
  18. sounds like a wet dream to me,
  19. Im not sure Im following you on this one? Can you explain?
  20. I still use retirement option even I will not stay more than 180 days a year. Even if I did not have embassy letter, I would transfer 800 a year to spend when I was there, and refill for every renewal.
  21. There is no way I ever will change from a good coffe shop (not starbucks, amazon) and use a vending machine, then I bring my own aeropress when travelling outside home. Coffe is like wine, do not drink cheap squip
  22. Axa doesnt do only insurances for old people on thight budget, and do have a solid backing. WRL? They constantly talking down on the bigger companies who have proved their backings. If I have to choose, I choose Axa, but I do not have to, since I travelling back and forth, and need only travel insurance which cost me 8k a year only. But I do pay tax and have private insurance connected to social security back home. It always comes down to what options you have, and how much you want to spend. I would say WRL is risky, but good someone do take the chance as said, then we will know more in a few years
  23. Those who need an insurance most, is those who is not diciplined enought to save, invest, or even imagine future and how it can be getting struck by a dissaster early 70ˋies or later. Even worse, in your 50´ies or 60´ies.
