Marrying a 17 year old Thai girl in the village
Hummin replied to Adumbration's topic in Marriage and Divorce
Well virgin Maria gave birth to Jesus in very same age, so some Neanderthals is still keeping the old customs alive even knowing better, but believe they are protected by a law that is not very clear and practiced as it should! -

Hummin replied to Kawazaki650R's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
So far only good experience with Phitsanulok servicing my 500 x and older 250 crf. Bought a 300 crf from them as well, but thanks for the heads up. The only issue I have with them is not willing to order new tires for me if not in stock -

It could be 3 people working on your bike, but still should be specified on invoice. Do you have a link to the Kawa dealer, so we can make sure we stay away from that place if its bad. I had my deal with a few of them before I found a ok one I can trust if Im present and watching them doing the job I want done. Next time I will buy a new Honda, never had problem with them, and I have 3 big bikes from Honda Big Bike. Always good service wherever I have been, unfortunate not the same experience with Kawa. Never heard a bad word about Yamaha either, but limited to bangkok for service. -

In Your Opinion: What's the best place for living in Thailand?
Hummin replied to 2009's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
The mos important when choosing a place to live, you need to find a connection. For me, if not had a gf now wife, I would not move here. Before that I started to travel here because of climbing, diving, Freediving, kayaking and cheap living as well easy visa, but I would not live in Thailand without someone who connected me, because interests is not enough for me to feel any belonging. For a short time yes, but not enough to retire, then it have to be more. Moving to Isan without a good reason or anything interesting to do? Alcoholic next Isaan is good for those who have a drive to do something positive for themselves and very often it is a small farm or farming when I see foreigners who thrives in Isaan. Living in a tourist place becomes boring also when you have absorbed the place for a few years, even you have interest and hobbies. -
Important to notice, he stress the point over and over about importance of testing. I have followed Mark quite awhile and he is in fact a multimillionaire and deep in to the business, but he have some valid points now and then, but he often come with quasi science and rely on research that could show some results, but not clinical proved. However theoretically he is on point on many things, but it doesnt work like theory as we would like, because it is a bit more complicated than 2+ 2 is 4 when it comes to diet and supplements. Another point is, it is the very same receptors who is going to absorbed the vitamins in order using different compounds and compete with others to be taken up and be used beneficial and healthy. Not sure that came out correct because of language barriers. Remember it is the same organs that is handling the excess vitamins, and if you are not living healthy from before, you can add stress and damage to your body, by taking to much vitamins. He is good to inspire but his regime is hard for most to optain, and it become a bit sensational and a bit religious.

@Tippaporn You telling me Im stubborn, was amusing ???? By science we know we have a different view of the reality than other animals and other lifeforms living among us, both visually and also how we recieve information by different “tools” to continue to stay alive and avoid danger. There is a reason we see the reality how we do, and how do you think we would we would have survived if we saw the truth? Could we live with the truth? I have to think about me here and now, and live in this chaotic reality and try to maintain pure happiness, and therefor I like to keep it simple even I understand the complexity involved our lifes, and possibilities there is to maybe gain another consensus, but for what reasons? Is it just another happy pill to keep life interesting because you want it to be different, and you want to be different? Think about that for awhile before you answer. I am off for a daytrip while there is still good weathe. Enjoy ☺️

Marrying a 17 year old Thai girl in the village
Hummin replied to Adumbration's topic in Marriage and Divorce
I know, was just a reaction to those members here who constantly repeat 15 years is the legal age, and I remember there is a law which is a bit more detailed when it comes to foreigners as well age gap between the involved also locals if I remember right. Ounder certain age she would need consent from her parents. -

Both is good for me, and have choices, but if I had a kid living with me in Thailand, I would also start looking for other options. So you are making the right choice to move to Hua Hin or simular. I have lately started to be more found of Prachuap, but maybe not with a kid if international school is the reason. -
Well, stubborn? Me? ???? How do you look at yourself? I'm more curious about how you did find your way in to this theology or theological theory. Where you where in life, and why you where converted? I did listen to Osho when I needed some answers, but did not really fall in to it, as many others. I feel more connected to science theories to be true. Right now following two channels of different level of feeds. https://bigthink.com/ https://www.veritasium.com/ And trust me, I really did give Seth a try, and did look in to it as much I could. Little bit I knew from before, and did see if there where possible to look at it in new light. I doesn't say science is the answer for everything, but I believe we need science in our daily life's,and for the moment alot more interesting than anything else

My biggest fear is conflicts, and therefor keeping my options open with two bases for both of us, however one is on the border to Russia, the other one is Thailand who we yet do not know for sure which side they will finely take between the west and China. As for now, Im going back to work and my gf will travel with me. About 6 months both places with proper visas for both and married so we should not be separated in worst scenarios.

Are you saying my reality and my view is wrong? Are you living in a different reality than me, self proclaimed and created by your self, that what I sense is wrong? The food I collect and fish in the nature do not exist? Do I create my reality around me, so everyone (except a few who struggle with serious mental issues such as bipolar one as one example) I know who see the same as me is on another «planet»? Im stretching myself far here to try to understand why you want your reality to be true? Are you not comfortable among us earthlings? Your post is to be true to much, and not very informative, because you talk about proof, but provide zero. You are at another level. Sorry

Advice suggested for reentering Thailand
Hummin replied to bear9's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I believe you have less to worry about than many others because you had visa and been granted longer stay, and now been out a month or more. Maybe better to enter from a closer port, be it land or air, I would choose air above land. Good luck -
I do not see my ideas controversial because we live in the middle of it, we can see it, we can touch it and we can feel it. There is no hidden ghosts, just purity, beautiful, evil and dangerous. It have all ingredients of reality. I prove it to myself every day I walk out the door no matter where I am, we are here and now! What you constantly challenging us, is not possible to answer, neither you if asked the same questions on the same terms. You fail as much as we do on those complicated questions, even you as Asia at hearth continue to give quotes and d texts from your trustworthy sources. Those sourches mean nothing to other than you, him and those who want to follow same sourches. To us, fiction and fairytales.

Marrying a 17 year old Thai girl in the village
Hummin replied to Adumbration's topic in Marriage and Divorce
Well in comparison with our wealth and expectations, it is not much. But we as a family living in Isan, 4 adults, one teenager and 6 animals have a monthly living budget included some western food from makro 30 000,- baht. Her parents do not live with us, but we pay them 10 000 a month to work for us and take care of the farm while we are not there. The teenager girl getting 500 baht a week in school and pocket money. That do not include our travelling, restaurants, insurance and other luxery items. We do not live poor either, just saying. -
I guess that fits most people who in some way thinking about the big questions, and do have a strong opinion about what is real or not, and what is the real absolute truths in life. Anyone here believe we have to face consequences for what we did in life when we die? Myself Im quite sure Im not, but if I had kids, Im quite sure they would carry on my heritage for good and bad. So for your kids it is consequences not only from me, but all the ancestor’s before.

Marrying a 17 year old Thai girl in the village
Hummin replied to Adumbration's topic in Marriage and Divorce
Well, she was “pure and virgin” until marriage, and who also where taken advantage of her naivety. He and his brothers seems to have same interest of younger girls, where one made a ordinary girl to a princess, and the other a trafficked victim. -

There is plenty of options to make a good living in Isan if you have the guts to do something, and make a plan for future. It is a cultural thing that weighs them down, but many do make a good living still. -

I thought locals and foreigners did not apply to same law? Moral issues? There is plenty if you have any emphasis with people in need and what drives them to make such decisions. -
The only curtain claim I can make about your reply, is those three is praying to the same god, the same origin and the same family! Anyone else claiming different, havent read their history ???? You are only willing to spend as much time and energy to understand something if you feel it is necessary or beneficial, but after trying and your conclusion is it is to far fetched to be taken seriously even if I'm trying to put my goodwill to it, same as reading the bible twice. Interesting theories, stories but I have my experience and my home as said many times now. If my imaginary god is the nature our planet, our Galaxy and universe with everything in it, I can accept that. But me as an individual, I'm just a passenger who can only relate to my life here and now happening as we go randomly based on my action and decisions as we go. I can make it better from day to day by learning and changing my approach as my thinking and new decisions made, but I'm very aware I can not control everything in my life. Destiny is as much unknow to me as to you! Good night and good morning

Humans have fear for everything thats different because we have memory of past. If you are interested in history from earth you will know why we have so strong fear of foreigners, not only because of our nature, but also carrying diseases that we not yeat had been exposed to. We are not living in a comic book where the ending can change from book to book ???? We live in a physical harsh environment we have to adopt to when the environment around us changes. Just a heads up from a previous post, it doesn’t serve me any good to insult you, so I am not here to ridicule you or insult you.
