Alcoholic next Isaan is good for those who have a drive to do something positive for themselves and very often it is a small farm or farming when I see foreigners who thrives in Isaan. Living in a tourist place becomes boring also when you have absorbed the place for a few years, even you have interest and hobbies.

Well in comparison with our wealth and expectations, it is not much. But we as a family living in Isan, 4 adults, one teenager and 6 animals have a monthly living budget included some western food from makro 30 000,- baht. Her parents do not live with us, but we pay them 10 000 a month to work for us and take care of the farm while we are not there. The teenager girl getting 500 baht a week in school and pocket money.
