“Hamas is a terrorist organization that does not represent the Palestinian people” …. really, well they’ve been the government of Gaza, since 2006, elected by the Palestinian population of Gaza. “I obviously do not condone what Hamas did” Not obvious to me, haven’t seen any condemnation from you that is anywhere near proportionate to the barbarism of the attack. As for Antonio Guterres, his comment that the attacks did not happen in a vacuum is a disgrace; it is a victim blaming blood libel, and he should resign immediately. Just when the UN is trying to justify its very existence, the Secretary General makes this appalling comment showing that he has no morality or impartiality. And you are citing this as a justification for the atrocities carried out by Hamas; no wonder that your condemnation of Hamas is not obvious to me. The UN was a well intended organisation that has morphed into a pointless relic. The UN Security Council comprises of 15 countries, 10 of which are rotating members, with 5 permanent members. Any of the five permanent members, the USA, Russia, France, China, and the UK, can veto any resolution put forward even if the other 14 members support it. In the last couple of years, Russia has vetoed 4 resolutions regarding Ukraine, and China vetos any resolution regarding their illegal expansionism in the South China sea. Your bias remains undiminished.

Words are powerful, and often the ones we avoid using can be just as powerful as the ones we use, sometimes even more so. You said “Yes, the terrorism that Hamas has committed is unforgivable” On 7th October representatives of the Palestinian government of Gaza, Hamas, carried out the worst atrocities this world has seen since the holocaust. Shooting babies in their cots, and beheading some of them, raping women and then burning their bodies, some raped so violently their pelvis was broken. Executing parents in front of their children and beheading some of them, ripping the unborn baby from a pregnant woman and beheading it before beheading the woman. There was of course much more, as I’m sure you are aware. Most normal people referencing these atrocities would instinctively use words like barbaric, inhuman, or monstrous maybe; you however used the much less critical adjective unforgivable, which of course it was, even though you noticeably did not mention those events at all, just a generalisation about terrorism that Hamas has committed. The rest of your comment was mostly blaming the UK, the USA and Israel, calling Israel an invading and occupying force that has stolen land and subjected the Palestinian people to daily terrorism over the last few decades; accusing them of having broken multiple laws and committed multiple war crimes. I read this comment that you made on page 137 carefully, and your historic inaccuracies notwithstanding, I concluded that it showed an irrefutable bias against Israel and towards Hamas. This is the bias that I accused you of, and I stand behind that accusation 100%. You now tell me not to accuse you of things that are not true …. well, I haven’t, have I ?

What on earth possessed you to think that your reply had anything at all to do with the comment you were responding to ?
-
So, four paragraphs berating Israel and excusing / justifying the atrocities of Hamas, then you slip in a little one line disclaimer “Yes, the terrorism that Hamas has committed is unforgivable” … inevitably followed by but, and more criticism / accusations. I don’t know who you think you’re kidding, maybe yourself, but certainly not me.

Okay, well they haven't ripped the unborn baby from a pregnant woman and beheaded it before beheading the mother …… but everyone on here has seen that you don’t like that being mentioned.

Is there a difference between a Gazan child killed in an air strike by an Israeli pilot who did his best with a targeted strike to avoid innocent victims, and an Israeli child tortured and beheaded in front of their parents by a gleeful Hamas butcher, videoing it so as to proclaim hero status for himself ? No. there is no difference between the dead children. However, there is a world of difference between the men who caused their deaths. One is a pilot, doing something he hoped he would never have to do to defend his country from the existential threat of terrorism, the other, a man that lost grip of the bottom rung of the evolutionary ladder long ago. If you don’t get that, you are succumbing to evil.

Teacher, teacher, he’s saying things I don’t like, can you stop him please

Here you go .... but you won't read it, or you certainly won't comment on it if you do, will you; you will just continue with your default tactic of answering any question with a question about something else https://www.yahoo.com/news/foreign-reporters-burst-tears-during-215231538.html

Great rant, even by your standards. However, I notice you are avoiding the main issue that everyone on this forum is discussing today; the 40 odd minute video that the Israeli authorities screened for over 100 journalists from around the world of the 7th October massacre, causing some of them to weep openly. You don’t seem at all interested in that …. why is that ?

Indeed, there will be more to come. I notice our two resident Hamas apologists aren't commenting about this.

Absolutely appalling. The atrocities carried out on 7th October by representatives of the Palestinian government of Gaza, are now being exposed as far more savage, barbaric, and inhumane than anyone had feared, and I think most feared the worst. One hundred reporters from around the world were there, and this is now being widely reported; even by the BBC and the Guardian. Understandably, I don’t believe photos were shown of the pregnant woman who had her unborn child ripped from her stomach to be beheaded, before she was beheaded herself, but I think evidence has been shown to some political leaders. **** In an audio recording played for the press, Confino (reporter) reported that a Hamas militant called his parents to brag about his killing, saying, “I killed 10 Jews with my own hands. I’m using the dead Jewish woman’s phone to call you now.” The Guardian reported that a clip showed an Israeli woman checking a burned woman’s corpse to see if it was a family member. The dead woman’s dress “was pulled up to her waist and her underpants had been removed,” the paper wrote. I’m at a loss to know what a proportionate response to this can be, especially given that the government of Gaza are now asking their own citizens to stand in-front of them and protect them from justice. It is also of great concern that the IDF say they have irrefutable evidence of direct involvement by Iran in the massacre. God help us all.

Martin McGuinness ….. another terrorist you seem to have an affinity with

Comedy gold .... ha ha ha ha ha ha

Transparent apologist … trying to now claim that there is only an element of Hamas that are terrorists. Hamas is a terrorist organisation, why do you find that so difficult to understand (rhetorical)

Have not read it / viewed it

I think that Antonio Guterres is as good a Secretary General as the UN has had for many years. The problem is that the UN is a busted flush, a well intended relic that has become a pointless organisation. The UN Security Council comprises of 15 countries, 10 of which are rotating members, with 5 permanent members. Any of the five permanent members, the USA, Russia, France, China, and the UK, can veto any resolution put forward even if the other 14 members support it. Statesman like speeches on the Israeli - Gaza war, fade like shadows into the night.

Wrong way round buddy. Braverman asked the Met Chief why they were not arrested, and has demanded an explanation from him

No problem, there are so many comments on this emotive issue, that it's very easy to miss a few. As the Thai people always insist, you can see it in the eyes

Indeed, I posted that clip yesterday on page 127. The BBC are institutionally antisemitic, anti-US, and even anti-British. Notice how Victoria Derbyshire starts talking over Naftali Bennett when he talks about the Hamas vermin pulling a foetus from a pregnant Israeli woman and beheading it, before beheading her. I watched the whole program as it was broadcast, and just after the end of this clip, the screen went blank and she apologised for loosing the connection … the BBC later blamed a technical fault, yeah right, my @rse Worse still was the report from the antisemite reporter Jon Donnison, at the time of the hospital explosion (see link) His biased and completely incorrect report fuelled protests all over the Arab world, countries that unlike most people in the UK, still believe what the BBC report. It was also instrumental in causing the abandonment of a proposed conference involving Joe Biden and leaders of the Arab world. Joe Donnison should not just be sacked from the BBC, he should be investigated, and possibly prosecuted for inciting violence. The BBC - once a bastion of impartiality and objectivity. Now a politicised left wing media outlet no longer delivering on the truth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7T9ZnT-gC4

I think it was only one that they did this to, but it has been confirmed
