Indeed Mike I think it’s the same in the US as the UK; a small minority shouting their narrative loudly, and demanding to be prioritised. The problem is that in the UK, we have many corporations and organisations willing to prioritise this minority for fear of offending; this wokeness obviously marginalises the majority. The BBC being the numero uno culprits in the UK.

Well David Armitage, I bet you thought that after more than 18 years this was well and truly forgotten. However, if you are in any way responsible, remember, there is no statute of limitation in UK law with regards to murder or manslaughter …. and plod does like a cold case.

Very difficult for most of us to comprehend how this could happen. Here in Hua Hin, I use a crossing 2 or 4 times everyday; it has lights and barriers, but without fail, I stop and look both ways before crossing. If there is a vehicle in front of me, I wait until it has completely exited the crossing to make sure that some other fool can’t leave me trapped on the rails …. very sad .... RIP Natchamee, you will be a long time mourning your sister Yaya

Vespa 150 Primavera or Sprint - iGet - ABS; combines an incomparable sense of aesthetics with modern technology and mechanics. Look after it and you will achieve great residual value, even after 5 years. -
Irishman dies in kayaking incident in Thailand
Eloquent pilgrim replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
All of the hundreds of kayaks that I have seen in Thailand that have either been for rent, or as gratis from beachfront hotels, have been the sit-on type, as opposed to the enclosed cockpit type that I have used for years on the Thames and other rivers in the UK. So, this is a rather strange and unexplained tragedy …. RIP -
British woman breaks nearly every bone in face in Thailand
Eloquent pilgrim replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
Classic deflection tactics. My comment was to inform you that she was not the rider, because you asked if she was an experienced rider; you also asked if she was even wearing a helmet at all, so you obviously had not read the article, despite making a lengthy comment. As someone that frequently corrects other posters, I thought you would be pleased to have your errors corrected; it seems there’s no pleasing some people. There is no information as to what type of helmet she was wearing, but it was a rented scooter, so not unreasonable to assume it was an ill-fitting, inadequate helmet from the shop, good enough to prevent a police fine, but not useful for much else. -

I don’t think anyone is trying to make her out to be an academic, or an eloquent scholar. However, most people have commended her for using her brief window of opportunity to call out the evil Putin. And fortunately, not many have, unlike yourself, frowned on her for being a simple country girl who can barely put an English sentence together ~ (sic)

lost retirement visa, now on overstay
Eloquent pilgrim replied to Joinaman's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I really feel for the guy, but it looks as if he’s rapidly running out of options. If he has become so disorganised that he didn’t get a re-entry permit when he left Thailand, chances are that he no longer has the organisational skills to take any route other than negotiating the best deal he can with the agent; pronto. With apparently very little in the way of financial resources, and the increasing likelihood of needing medical care as time goes by, a better option might well be, unfortunately, returning permanently to the UK, where he will have access to the NHS and other benefits; sad story, I wish him the best of luck -
That's all you needed to have written; your obsession with money is pretty scary though.
