People need guns in urban areas to protect themselves from bad guys with guns who want to hunt but can't find any outdoors. In case any libs are asking, banning guns will not work because there are 50 states, and even though all of them have police stations, with 905 throughout the US and too many other government agencies (otherwise known as potential collection centers), the effort would be too great. On the other hand, collecting guns wouldn't work because only the good guys with guns would hand them in and only bad guys would keep them. Yes, no doubt guns would no longer be stolen from people who no longer have them, and suicides by gun would plummet but that would simply mean you'd have to leave the planet by other means.
