Polaky replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If they were to follow Australia, then the price of realestate would sky-rocket to unbelievable heights, allow foreigners to buy land without restriction, and watch how steep prices will soar, but no with their backward policy of foreigners can only lease land it will remain stagnant. -

2 hour ride with a comfortable raxi, door to door and they pay tolls, 1200 baht is cheap as chips, alternative cramp yourself into a bus ,wait until they are ready to depart, sit next to an overweight drunk, fear of catching a virus, it is a no brainer unless your a cheap Charlie, when I get back to my own country it costs just as much for a 20 minute ride.

Thai Actress’s Brother Refuses Settlement with Russian Attacker
Polaky replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
He is a Russian so gets convicted here by the majority without a trial, we should hold a kangaroo court and decide, , if he is guilty then he should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and the victim should receive compensation along with the restaurant worker as well, and then after all monies have been paid deported. -
Thai Airways Faces Backlash Over Business-Class Seat Fiasco
Polaky replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I fly with them to Melbourne, the only other airline that flies direct is Jetstar, and with Jetstar's prices on many flights exceeding ta's and no baggage allowance or anything else it is a no brainer, the only annoying thing is you are unable to select a seat until you check in, I rang them and asked why a flight booked a month ahead you could not select a seat, she said looking at her allocation for the flight in question all seats are reserved by other passengers, I asked how is this possible when i don't have the option to select a seat, she could not provide an answer, perhaps someone here has a workaround? -
