  1. What goes around comes around the Thai's have been too smug and incompetent for far too long
  2. The easiest solution is to retire here with enough money that means you don't need to run a business.
  3. The trouble with the Thai is that they consider themselves the world's hub that everyone and everything revolves around. The US isn't interested in Thailand from a trade point of view because of the huge deficit in Thailands favour, which the protectionist idiots want to continue with.
  4. Not quite so I can tell you as at the end of the filling out all the information they sent a OTP to my wife's phone, she's the owner, I am the driver and she wasn't at home so they lost the business.
  5. If he had joined the army cadets at high school he wouldn't have to go, as per my son. Otherwise as far as I know there is no legal way of getting around it if he's not going to university.
  6. I find Thai curries far superior and haven't eaten a Indian one since 2008 when I arrived here. I have zero intention of changing.
  7. Another Thai classic, the Muppets at TAT should all be sent somewhere where they are not seen or heard. They bungle virtually everything they come up with, absolutely clueless
  8. Another Thai classic, the Muppets at TAT should all be sent somewhere where they are not seen or heard. They bungle virtually everything they come up with, absolutely clueless
  9. Two secondhand dealers have bit the dust in recent months in my local town.
  10. One of the biggest problems is the greed of the Landlords charging exorbitant rents, the Thai always know how to cut their nose off to spite their face...
  11. And you wonder why some bars or GGs won't let them in, I've seen the same behaviour for years. They think it's like it is back home and then of course is a rape a minute country. Biggest bunch of misogynists going, no respect from the vast majority of them. Having said that there are some seriously wealthy people who come and spend big spondulies.
  12. That's been the case for a few years now...
  13. The whole system is a complete failure and there is no willingness from the government or the ministry of education and most of all the teachers to change it. The rote system of learning is Neanderthal, the teachers can't cross over into other levels of teaching in their own subjects let alone any other subjects. Thailand falls in the rankings all the time but does absolutely nothing to help the future of the country. A shocking dereliction of duty.
  14. Another classic keystone cop's moment from the incompetent BiB. You can bet your last satang that if the restaurants were owned by a police officer they wouldn't be walking the streets. Just a complete joke, yet again a utter disgrace of law enforcement, the BiB the laughing stock of the country along with it's politicians and courts.
  15. Nothing will happen the Cambo army couldn't invade a chicken shed they are so poorly equipped. It's all smoke from the Huns because their corrupt criminal regime has been exposed as allowing chinese mafia gangs to operate in their country at the expense of Thai citizens and people from other countries. Just as we have seen in Burma, where 10s of thousands have been deported back to China by the rebels fighting the butchering murderers there. The Huns are using the border dispute with Thailand to try and deflect the news away from their appalling regime.
  16. Or a descendant of a criminal deported from the land of his birth to do his time, runs in the blood
  17. Why isn't he in hospital if she took away his crown jewels, 555
  18. Quite right they didn't because if you get involved with Thai's fighting you will be in a whole load of pain. Not only from the blows received but in the shenanigans of the police who mostly side with their own kind. I certainly wouldn't but I would record the event. I can't remember a farang ever getting the better of violent Thai's as they often attack in numbers, there are no Queensbury rules here.
  19. There are no restrictions at all where I live, you can buy alcohol 365 days a year from the village shop, even during COVID. A large Leo is 65 baht.
  20. Obviously wasn't missing his spuds and cabbage...
  21. I've had some very good nights out in the Cafe de Tree in Sisaket city...
