I live in Isaan and alot of small vendors, shops, petrol stations along the main road have closed because the level of passing trade isn't there anymore.

You mean days, people here in Isaan buy food daily not weekly or monthly. I think it would be impossible to enforce nationwide but in specific locations, maybe they could lock it all down. Whose is going to come round and collect your shopping list?

Authoritarian regimes always tell lies, fake news whatever. They have no integrity by way of their coming to power and certainly no honour, shame or sympathy. The lies from them started 7 years ago with 'we will only be in power for 18 months' and the 'bringing happiness to the people'. All utter rubbish, they are clinging on further their own interests, as usual. In my Isaan backwater you're more likely to win the lottery, than get an AZ vaccine.
