Thanks for posting. I'm interested to know what hospital. We are trying to find a doctor to get legitimate exemption for medical reasons, and would also like to know (if you're in Thailand), do the powers that be, honor them?

Yes, I am in Thailand and I would guess that your chances of seeing this doctor would be zilch as he does not have his own practice and he does not attend out patience he only works in the ICU so unless 1 of your family members is admitted to the ICU then there would be a zero chance of seeing him. I thought the same thing as you and asked him where his practice was so that we could go to him for future medical needs and he told me that I would only ever be able to see him under the same circumstances that we are under now and at the ICU of the hospital. As for the powers that be accepting legitimate medical exemptions, nobody knows.

Thx for that, I have edited my previous post having just read an article which backs up you are saying, I must have misread the article I read as the article I jut read said 1.9 million doses by end of the year.

You could still be right in what you read because as memory serves me the original Moderna order was for 1 million doses to be deliver mid October but then that was delayed until 1st November and only half of that order was delivered with a further order of 1.9 million doses to be delivered in December. It will be anyones guess if that 1.9 million doses will be delivered on time. They might count the 1 million doses that was donated by America as part of that order.

  3. Well and good but where is the rest of the orders that have been paid for and where is the other half of the first order. Is this a case of America grabbing this million doses from Moderna and donating them to look good which will now put the paid for orders behind again. If the Thai government gives this lot of vaccines to the people that paid for it will they also refund the money that they got for it. 555555555555555

People on here believe scientists, who have such knowledge, that these vaccines are safe.

Are you saying they are not safe to use? In this case you should contact the Thai FDA, and probably also the FDA in other countries and the WHO and present your evidence to them, so they will ban these unsafe vaccines asap.

It's possible, yes, but the chance is lower compared to an unvaccinated person.

It is people like you that do not know what they are talking about and My wife's daughter is now in ICU in hospital blood clots because she was forced by people like you with your attitude of "just take any vaccine it does not matter which one" to have the AZ injection instead of waiting for the Moderna injection that she ordered. It was reported very early in the vaccine program in every country in the world, even Thailand that AZ vaccine not be given to anyone under 60 years of age because of the serve side affects and the deaths that were recorded against AZ and even here in Thailand Anutin was not given AZ because he is under 60.

  5. There are still many areas of Isaan that have not seen any vaccines but They can give the third shot boosters to people around Bangkok and now they are threatening those who have not had their first shot with isolation. There are many dictators here on this forum that say you can just take any vaccine without these dictators having any medical or scientific knowledge. To these dictators I will ask what people should not get an Astra-Zenica vaccine injection?

I don't think Thailand population in general has a big problem with anti-vac the problem is many don't want a vaccine made by China then you got those who don't even want the AZ. The government leaders like this jerk so just <deleted> his mouth and work harder in obtaining more vaccines that their population want until that happens I don't think any of them should be be talking!

My wife's 21 year old daughter was coerced (forced) to change from Moderna to Astra-Zenica and she received her first jab yesterday about 14:00 and everything was fine but at 09:00 this morning she rang her mother to say she was not feeling well so we went over to her and immediately took her to hospital and at 14:30 this afternoon she was transferred to ICU in a coma. My wife is still at the hospital and I am at home waiting for all the family to arrive from Bangkok and then we will all return to the hospital. This was brought about by some idiots that push people to get a vaccine that they do not want plus a government that allows an organisation like the Thai Red Cross to hold doses of Moderna vaccine to be used as booster shots for people over 70 instead of getting it out to the regional provinces to be given as the first shots to the many thousands that are waiting for the vaccine

Why? This is the only time that this man has spoken sense and, as he said, he is only adopting the same rules that exist elsewhere in the world (now, there is a surprise). Those who refuse to be vaccinated put both themselves and others at greater risk. I don't mind them putting themselves at greater risk - that is their right - but not others.

I think back to when I was a kid and we were vaccinated against smallpox and polio - no ifs or buts or cries of it's against my human rights or any conspiracy theories that we were being impregnated so our minds could be controlled. And guess what - it worked. No smallpox, no polio.

But back then there was only one vaccine for smallpox and one vaccine for polio and there was enough vaccine to vaccinate the whole community with no problems but here with this there are how many vaccines and still no enough to vaccinate the whole community. You have the Thai Red Cross holding onto Moderna vaccine to give for BOOSTER shots for people over the age of 70 while people in regional provinces are still waiting for vaccines for their first shots. It will never work until there is enough decent vaccine available for everyone in the country.

Totally agree .. but isn't this a bit preemptive - Its not like westerners can walk into any provincial health clinic and get the vaccine of their choice. Anutin doesn't really have any of his own original ideas, he's just following the path discussed by many other western governments, but without any real plan to back up his policies.

It is not only westerners that can't just walk in and get vaccinated it also includes Thai's because the vaccines are not available to everyone in Thailand. There are many thousands in country provinces that do not have access to vaccines and then there are many that will not take Sinovac vaccine because they do not trust the Chinese vaccine plus many do not trust Anutin's company that is making Astra-Zenica here in Thailand

Because the other vaccines are available, Moderna is not.

Then how come the Thai Red Cross is hanging onto Moderna vaccine to give to over 70's as a BOOSTER shot and it not being given to the public as a first shot. So according to you everyone must take any vaccine that you think they should and not have the choice of what is put into their body. Well mister my wife's daughter did what you said and instead of waiting for her Moderna shot she went and had her first shot of Thai made Astra-Zenica yesterday afternoon and this morning she was admitted to hospital with serious side affects.

So what about all the people who have booked and paid for Moderna and are still waiting for it? What about them?

According to many on here they should be forced to take any vaccine jabbed into their bodies and not complain about it. Why is the Thai Red Cross allowed to hang onto Moderna vaccine to be given to over 70's as a BOOSTER shot and it not be given as a first shot to people waiting for theirs

  11. Why do people not bother to read the threads and answer what questions that are ask instead of telling a person what to do and how to do things. There are reasons that I will not pay anything online and that is my personal choice but that is not what I asked on this thread.

  12. 6 minutes ago, Will27 said:

    I take it that's a no then????

I have been caught with online payments where double payments have been taken and it took the threat of court action to get the money back before and I do not do them with any company, but that is not what I asked in this thread

Have you tried installing the MyAIS app and paying online.  It is ultra easy.

I am happy with the way we have been doing things and there has not been a problem with the billing for 4 years until our July bills when they only sent my bill and not the wife's bill then it was supposed to be fixed and the August and September bills were ok but then the October bill they only sent my wife's and not mine and this bill they sent neither but sent a message to my phone telling me what my bill is and a message to the wife's phone telling her what her bill is. This is not what we signed up for and I am not interested with MyAIS and paying online.

  14. I am not sure if this is the right forum. Has anyone had problems with AIS billing? We have 2 phones and the internet with AIS and we receive the bill for the internet separate to the phone bills and the phone bills have always been sent on the one email so that they can be printed off separately but lately AIS have either changed everything or they have become just like this government because they can no longer send the 2 bills together but instead only send 1 of the phone bills and not send the other at all and as for the call centre they do not do anything to help except to tell me that I can go to the store in Central Plaza and have it fixed. But that store does not open until 11:00 and then you must still wait and it takes ages to try and get it sorted and this also happened last month as well plus a couple of months ago as well. So my wife cannot open her shop at 9:00 as she needs to come with me to try and get this mess sorted out. When we first signed with AIS everything worked great for about 4 years but now it is becoming a nightmare with them. Anyone else had the same problems with them?

  15. There is NO fully approved vaccine listed by the World Health Organisation for anyone under the age of 18. The WHO approved on 3 November an emergency list of vaccines but they are only for over 18 year olds. There is however an emergency approval on 4 November 2021 by the CDC for Pfizer only to be used between the ages of 15 and 5 years of age. There is still NO approved vaccine for under 5 year olds. So as there is no fully approved vaccine by the WHO you are wrong in your claim that his son will be stigmatized and excluded from activities at his school for this. What is approved by the FDA in America or the NHS in UK has nothing to do with what is approved in Thailand

    https://www.who.int/news/item/03-11-2021-who-issues-emergency-use-listing-for-eighth-covid-19-vaccine

    https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/recommendations/children-teens.html

  16. The biggest cause of this problem is this stupid government who failed to obtain vaccine early in the piece and then the stupid act of stopping the donation from America plus stopping the Thammarat University from purchasing any and stopping the private hospitals from buying directly from the pharma companies and making every purchase go through this stupid inept government and even with the Moderna this government would not place an order for it until they got the money from the hospital groups but they promised the Moderna in mid October but they did not order it in time for then so it was put back to November and only half of the first order was delivered and that was not evenly distributed around the whole country. It was used mainly around the Bangkok and tourist areas and now this government wants to punish the people who live in the far provinces for there stupid actions and it can be seen on here that many farang agree with the government. How many doses of vaccine has this government wasted by their stupidity? My wife's family ordered paid for their Moderna vaccine back in early July and they were told a bunch of lies by this government because they were promised their vaccine in mid November 2021 and they still have not got it and now this idiot wants them to be isolated because of his stupidity.

    Thank you.

Thought you had to have arranged for your vaccinations through that app to obtain the proof.

I had free vaccinations distributed by Bangkok Hospital Khon Kaen.

Never used the Mor Prom app.

If you got you double vac at Bangkok Hospital in Khon Kaen you would have been handed the certificate of vaccination by the staff on level 2 before you were allowed to leave.
