I am just curious if there is any particular reason to leave them on? I guess it is just ingrained in me but I tend to switch off if even if going out for an hour or so and especially overnight. I leave mine on because I have scheduled tasks including antivirus scans and backups that run overnight.

Mine is on permanently. It only gets switched off if I go away for a holiday or there is a power outage or as @Ralf001 states when a restart is required following an update.

I've just bought this one today. My current DTAC unlimited sim expires on Monday. Unlimited data at max 15Mbps. Unlimited calls to dtac numbers (15 min max per call then hang up and call the same number again) 60 Mins per month free to all other networks.

Genius is my brand of choice for wireless KB/mice. I'm currently using a Genius KB8000x combo to control my TV boxes (android & ubuntu) and it worked great for about 6-7 years until a couple of weeks ago when I broke the scrolling wheel of the mouse. I replaced the mouse with a Genius Traveller 6000 and it works great alongside the 8000 KB. I bought them on Lazada, but I think the 8000 series has been superseded now.

I agree with @OneMoreFarangs post about compensating the PYB for expenses and his inconvenience/time. Mrs MD advises me about that sort of thing.
