I didn't get the SMS from KBank. I don't have a KBank debit card but cardless withdrawal says I can withdraw up to 30,000 baht at a time. Yesterday, I also noticed that my maximum daily transaction limit has been upped from 200,000 to 500,000 baht. Previously it was changed from 5 million baht per day to 200,000 baht per day.

IMHO, you are doing the right thing. When I got my last new phone, I was able to install and activate the KPlus app and my UK HSBC app on my new phone myself, but even though I could install the Krung Thai Next app, I had to go to the bank for them to activate it properly, even though I was using the registered Thai sim card in Thailand.

I would also report the loss to the Police, just in case you do lose any money as the bank will probably ask for proof that you filed a Police report.
