If you have not used the 60 days to visit wife previously then yes. And yes you can apply for the 12 month extension prior to expiry of the 60 day permit.

If immigration will not accept your financials then you have 2 options. Use both accounts assuming they are Thai and in your name only Or obtain a 60 day extension to visit wife

Agree. It's all about visa/reentry permit. Immigration are not interested in dress code despite ongoing misleading posts. The issue is always regarding ongoing stay in Thailand without a visa

He needs to obtain an non O based on retirement. He can do that obtaining an eVisa non O in UK or here in Thailand with a visa exempt or tourist visa entry. He will require a Thai bank account in his name only. That's not a straight forward process and assuming he does not have one then obtaining the non O in UK a good option. He cannot use income method initially as immigration require 12 months of transfers. You don't understand. I do not do online reports. I either do them in person when I have business with immigration or do them via mail option.. Currently there seems to be a sync requirement with online reporting match updated TM30. That can be avoided by not using online reports and that's what I'm doing.

You mention Jomitien and now CW. "New entry" on what? Seems you changed address. That requires a TM30.

Jomitien is an irrelevant immigration office in my book. I deal with CW. Don't often do TM47 due to LOT travel out of Thailand. Do not use online reporting. I use mail option for 90 day reporting. Here 12 years and never done a TM30
