30 days. As stated earlier by BritTim... If you can provide good evidence of need to apply sooner that is possible. Perhaps couple of weeks with flight out and good reason
-
OP, you do not own house. You have very little foot hold in this. The court order means Zip. If your X wants to make your life impossible living in that house you are burnt. Obviously you have been in Thailand long time. You are not in farang world. At click of x wife fingers you are history. For One moment don't think you have sympathy from grand parents etc. <removed>

Fine... Here is snippet from your first post. .. "I remember specifically one time where she's asking for something that was already in my passport and she's looking and asking and grunting and searching ... and finally found it".. Why does she need to search for it ...."and finally found it" There is virtually not docs that the io would require other than most recent TM47 receipt. And you should provide photography of that. I'm not being pedantic. So so many folk attend immigration without correct documents.

Your post seems to indicate that you are unaware what is required even for a simple 90 report. My guess is that you did not provide photography of last 90 report. As far as MTT being bit out of Bangkok central......what's that got to do with anything. As I stated the appointment worked a treat. Seems like many (including this thread) unprepared and then blame the io.
-
Strange how I did a 90 day report at MTT (back when they were being done there. Also did application for a certificate of residence. I used appointment option. Smooth as silk and the two io that I dealt with could not have been anymore pleasant. Fast tract to last week when I visited CW for 90 report with appointment and the io was helpful in also processing an application for certificate of residence. Strange that you had such issues.

To apply for extension to a tourist visa generally the immigration office will require proof that you are living in that province. When you check into a hotel, they by law they make a report. It's referred to as a TM30. Ask hotel if they will do that and can provide you with screenshot of that. That will satisfy immigration for 30 day extension.

Son with thai and EU passport??
DrJack54 replied to beammeup's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Correct. Some poor information in this thread. -
Finding your plan bit ridiculous. If you want to enter and exit after 3 days then use the tourist visa and on departure buy a 1000b reentry permit at airport. I posted earlier asking how long do you want to stay in Thailand. That answer leads to best advice. Perhaps a METV may be better option if you wish to travel S.E.A

You would be given 30 day visa exempt stamp. The to use tourist visa you would need to exit Thailand and reenter. This has been discussed in several threads if by having an eVisa that would be possible. Possible loophole but what's the point. As I posted earlier enter Thailand with tourist visa. Obtain extension if you want. Do border bounce to obtain visa exempt emtry
-
No. You would need to exit Thailand and reenter with the tourist visa. Is this an eVisa? Suggest best to enter Thailand with the tourist visa and then obtain visa entry with a border bounce. You stated that ..., "THis used to be common practice but I don't know if it is done anymore.." When was it common practice. Is your tourist visa in passport or eVisa email? How long do you wish to visit Thailand?

Yes I realize old thread. Hopefully someone can advise. So going to Chatuchak next week to obtain the 5 yr TDL. Currently have a 2 yr license. I did the online e learning and got certificate Q code and all that but that was some time ago. States valid for 6 months. Is this really required. My agent says not necessary

Will in Thailand & Australia
DrJack54 replied to OzMan's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Your lawyer would have also advised that passing intestate in Australia would be very foolish.
