Going to Thailand for Surgery help with TM6
Just for the record I have always felt completely safe in this country. Since it's first visit and going straight to hospital you could check out taxis etc. There is a forum on AseanNow that deals with advice re airports. https://aseannow.com/forum/105-suvarnabhumi-airport-forum/ Here is airport thread The OP gives clear instructions.. https://aseannow.com/topic/1330579-taxi-procedure-at-bkk/

Going to Thailand for Surgery help with TM6
Good. Sometimes the airline at departure want to see you have a flight. If both legs are same airline then they see your return flight. If not then screenshot of return flight is fine.. BTW: I'm sure you are aware that you receive a 60 day stamp when you enter Thailand visa exempt. Realize you have flight booked however can incorporate a holiday in Thailand.

Going to Thailand for Surgery help with TM6
OK, then put address of hospital. The TM6 online form is nothing to be concerned about. It will be simple form. The ETA won't be introduced any time soon. No offense but you a nervous. It's far more simple than you are thinking. Just saw your other post age/retirement. Age is irrelevant. Just put retired

Just put retired. Your occupation is irrelevant. Do you have a return ticket to Thailand?

Just put "tourism" Surely you are checking into hotel for first night? If so put that address. If not put address of hospital..

Is this new in 90 days report?
You in thread some time back posted ......"The last TM30 I submitted was in 2016 when I moved to CM. I never use my passport when checking into hotels in Thailand. Always use my pink ID card or driver's license" So you state that you use passport for check in and previously state "I never use my passport" In any event I single out CM as when changes were made to TM30 rules in June 2020 they ignored that change. Granted we are now seeing requirement to report in person after travel abroad. This is because they wanted to sync online reporting with TM30. It will never work.

Is this new in 90 days report?
You wouldn't believe it. That's exactly what I did and even the times were the same. Don't worry all good. I attended 90 report first. She was pointing out that my permission of stay only had 3 days remaining and to go and do the extension first. (retirement) After I did the extension I went straight back to the same io. She remembered me and no issue she just issued the 47 receipt. BTW. If you haven't done the report using appointment here's the drill. Go to Que counter the end far right side. The clerk will want to see hard copy of appointment and filled in TM47 application. She then via phone talks to one of the two "appointment desks" io. All very smooth.

Is this new in 90 days report?
That's my thinking also. Going back to last Nov 5 I made appointment for extension (CW) and aso appointment for TM47. Tip: do the extension first followed by the 90 report. I check appointments for extension yesterday and there was nothing available Jan or Feb. Don't know what's going on

Applying for a SETV eVisa
It's visa exempt entry and your eVisa application would be irrelevant. Which airline for Japan to Thailand?
-
Applying for a SETV eVisa
Land border entries provide 60 day stamp and can be extended by 30. From Jomitien I strongly suggest for border bounce to Cambodia that you use minivan agent company
-
Applying for a SETV eVisa
Don't read too much into this post.. Prior to eVisa , I recall Japan having specific requirements. One being a resident status for non japanese citizens was required to apply for visa to Thailand
-
Applying for a SETV eVisa
I doubt it. Especially if you have paid. Either way you can have your 90 day stay in Thailand+ option for longer stay with exit/reenter Thailand for another visa exempt entry. Via land good option. Where do you plan to stay in Thailand
-
Applying for a SETV eVisa
I would do as you suggested. Perhaps submit bank photocopy or whatever. The visa fee is gone so give it a shot. The eVisa would avoid onward flight requirement. If not approved you can enter Thailand visa exempt and you will receive 60 day stamp that can be extended by 30 (1900b) The 30 change to 60 occurred mid 2024. Again...how long do you wish to stay in Thailand?

Online TM6 form for visitors to Thailand coming on May 1
Agree, however some random posts in various platforms suggest reentry permit folk (expats) etc might be also be subject to this requirement. Ridiculous however who knows at this point.

Online TM6 form for visitors to Thailand coming on May 1
That won't happen (so they say) The ETA is meant to replace the TM6. This online TM6 nonsense is cover up for the delayed ETA.

Marriage Visa in Thailand: Do I Need a Work Permit ?
That's 11 months away. No offense but you are dancing about options. The living with her (address) is irrelevant. When do you plan on coming to Thailand. An agent can assist with opening a Thai bank account. Out of interest how long have you spent previously in Thailand. Ask as you seem very unaware of options in Thailand.

extension of stay based on you are raising a foreign child here who is enrolled in school o
Off topic posts removed. Thread is regarding Non Thai children..
-
Applying for a SETV eVisa
Why did you even apply for SETV eVisa. That gives you 60 day stamp. Currently visa exempt entry to Thailand gives 60 day stamp. Can be extended by 30 days Since you have already applied for the eVisa then you could try the bank balance. I was under impression that applying for visa for Thailand while in Japan had requirements. If you decide on visa exempt entry to Thailand then check out onward flight requirement for airline at departure. How long do you wish to stay in Thailand?

The OP is asking about non Thai children.

coming to thailand in february for 6 months
You again are not understanding the rent a ticket. When you fill in the form online you nominate the date of travel. That for example can be in 50 days after arrival. The record of the ticket itself for airlines to check is only valid for couple of days. Longer if you opt to pay more. Do you have any more genuine questions as your options have been explained several times

Questions re retirement visa Pattaya
Applying for an eVisa does not require money in a Thai bank. It can for example be in a bank of passport country. For those that opt to obtain the Non O visa inside of Thailand then the funds need to be in a Thai bank account in your name only. That can be an issue for those without a Thai bank account. In that situation those folk sometimes use agent to assist with bank account.

coming to thailand in february for 6 months
He does not require a Non O. With any visa including a SETV etc an onward flight would not be required by airline. Did you read the thread In all probability the airline may not ask for onward flight. If they do he can obtain on the spot either rent a ticket or real throw away ticket.. BTW: does not need to be return flight.

Single entry Non O from Savannakhet
What are you asking about. There is no longer in person application for Non O in Laos. It's all eVisa since start of 2025
