I'd be interested to know if anyone has had problems getting multiple consecutive Single Entry visas, as this seems to be my only recourse for the time being
My last reply as not interested in your excuse for lack of contribution to own thread..
At a guess you are working online.
That works provided not related to Thailand.
And NO ongoing setv will not work.
Under 50 you could consider PE visa option.
At a guess too expensive for digital nomad.
BOI perhaps an option

Don't you just love it when an OP asks a question and then doesn't check back for replies. Can't be that urgent.
Agree and OP has been given options for situation.

Fly to udon Thani.
Stay somewhere like top mansion . Bar area.

Is this agency able to do 12 month extensions based on marriage?
All agents can do for 12 month extension based on marriage is hand holding.
Directing you to required paperwork etc.
The Financial requirements are not too difficult.
If over 50 and do not meet the financial requirements then an agent will suggest extension based on retirement

They said as I had a re-entry permit and I'm returning to the same address using the same permission to stay so the TM30 is still valid and doesn't need renewing
That is correct and also includes those with a multiple entry visa.

OP, correct answers above.
The key date to keep eye on is June 10.
You should exit and reenter just prior to that date.
In doing that you will be stamped in for 60 days.
That 60 stamp can also be extended by 30 at immigration office.
Hence you read that METV can provide a 9 month stay.
Ripper visa.

I believe Jomtien immigration has a particular approach to this one, read about it many times and they do demand it.
Not interested in what couple of rogue offices do.
Yes Jomtien were red hot on tm30 few months ago.
Believe they are not now.
Folk should be familiar with what their own office require even when it's incorrect.

There was a member of this forum posted a couple of years ago with a similar issue.
I don't see this as a similar issue.
Sure there have been cases involving medical reasons for overstay also court cases and folk end up on overstay if they didn't obtain extension for court proceedings etc.
Lawyers in some situations can be useful but costly.
Not really clear about this friend of a friend situation is.
One thing is clear (imo) get out of dodge.

But can you show me all the posts i posted where nonsense.
because that is what you have stated.
( three pages of nonsense) that was your words.
You have misunderstood.
I was referring to 3 pages of nonsense from many posters.
Simple fact is that to check into hotel the hotel has every right to request pp.
In any event this simple thread has run its course.

What a stupid thing to say.
What part of hotel requesting you pp for check in don't you understand.
Hotels have a legal obligation to do a TM30 report.
To meet that they require your pp.

Still confused, let me know what is confusing you, you can PM me if you are embarrassed.....😘
Previously online reporting 90 days for next extension was dated from approval.
Many threads on this where people point out that it only adds one extra report per year.
If your office starts 90 day account from due date great.
If its now across all offices even better

That is welcome news - my last report was rejected with no reason so hope there is a silver lining at some point and might explain CW telling user to fill 15 days early next time. It used to be notice was sent before they even accepted form so had to wait.
Don't get your hopes up.
I always apply 14/15 days early and my last 3 rejected at CW.
No reason given and no joy explanation wise when doing it in person.

The alternative that hasn't been mentioned is that you can send an authorized representative.
Which is what I am doing.
We will see how that works out.
Works fine.

Silly? 5555. Uhmmm.. No... Practical! As for the bank... I use electronic services 99% of the time.
Waste of time back and forth with someone wanting to play their own rules.
Most hotels require pp for check in.
Posts in thread re wife check in only apply those traveling with Thai.
Many do not.
After Songkran I will attend bank to obtain bank cheque for condo purchase.
I will require pp at bank and also Land office.
This thread is 3 pages of nonsense.
Check in to a hotel provide your passport.
Simple.

is it possible to ENTER Thailand without a visa? , someone told me the airline would not let me fly because my flight would be more than 30 day stay ?
It mostly depends on the airline and route.
If you are flying eg Jetstar to Thailand you have good chance of issue at check in without onward flight within 30 days

It's an issue... I only take my passport when absolutely essential. A few days trip out of Hua Hin shouldn't need a friggn passport.
TIT
Very silly attitude.
BTW what do you use for counter transaction at your bank.

The only negative to this ( extension of 30 days) is
Change of flight departure after you extend your 30 days
You could have purchased a rent a flight from companies such as "onwardticket.com" 14usd

I wrote about exactly what I do every time I come to Thailand and I have never had a problem, I simply tell the io where I am staying and they stamp my PP for an additional 30 days and give me a receipt for 1900baht clipped into my PP.
And I wrote "You MAY require a TM30...."
Obtaining a 30 day extension in Bangkok high chance.
Many threads such as this indicate tm30 more often than not is required

The right thing to do is do border run, pay 20K fine and pray for the mercy of IO
That would not be a good idea.
He will receive a ban.
He needs to exit via airport now.

You should not be required to do a TM30 for trips out of province or out of Thailand.
33 minutes ago, FarangFB said:My driver's license expires in a couple months, I think I'll need to visit immigration to get a residence certificate, wonder if the TM30 has any effect on this.
To obtain a certificate of residence most recent TM47 or TM30 should be sufficient.

are there 2 Dr Jacks? '' I quote your first response'
'Ditto.
I would take it up to the 800k 4 months prior to application.
Note not expiry'
which is it, 2 month or 4 months.? thanks.
It's 2 months prior to date of application for extension.
The 4 was a typo.
So it's all about the date of application.
800k for 2 months prior to application + maintained at 800k for 3 months after application and not below 400k in other months

What To Do Please.
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
He can obtain a 30 day extension to his 30 visa exempt entry or a 60 day extension to visit wife.
How long would he like to stay in Thailand.
If another 90 days he should obtain the 30 day extension first.
