  1. For sure. Continue using WISE. Here is my most recent transfer. Was instant.
  2. I don't even have a laptop. Everything is done on Android phone. I have Bendigo Bank app and Westpac bank app. It does require you at some point to supply Thai phone # for OTP (if required) Off topic tip for anyone opening a Thai bank account choose BBL or Kasikorn as they are partner banks to WISE and also allow large transfer. Think its 2 million baht..
  3. Just for others....the date you put is just formality. Do not need to have flight on that day. The reentry permit can be used from date of issue to expiry of current permission of stay..
  4. See attached screenshot. 4 minutes. That includes time to transfer from Westpac to WISE using online banking app. This has been similar experience for large sums eg Condo purchase. Just putting out my many transfers using WISE.
  5. I notice you had very similar issue back in May and started this thread. To live ongoing in Thailand you need to be on annual extensions rather that a non O plus 60 day extension or visa exempt plus 60 day extension. Since your embassy provides income letter for immigration don't understand why you are in this situation. You state in both threads that the financial requirements is the issue. ? Seems more like poor planning.
  6. Don't know what your doing. My transfers from Oz using WISE take minutes.
  7. State "live in Bangkok" A border run to Cambodia using minivan company is an option if you run out of time. As mentioned earlier 60 day extension to visit wife is available. Ongoing you need to obtain Non O and subsequent annual extensions. The financial requirements are either 400k in bank ONLY for two months OR monthly income of 40k per month. Dutch folk can obtain "income letter" from Dutch embassy in Bangkok?
  8. Reentry Permit at BKK is obtained after security and prior to passport control. The desk is to left side of immigration ques. 1000b single reentry and 3800b multi. plus 200b if you opt for service assist Zone 2
  9. Critical information that has not been posted. OP?
  10. Reentry Permit has zero to do with return flight. Which airport are you exiting Thailand from. Since urgent best to obtain reentry permit at airport on day of departure. They also offer 200b service fee to take care of everything including photo for TM8
  11. Normally I cut one or two sentences. Your posts are over the shop. Clearly state you status in Thailand along with financial situation. Where is your location in Thailand? Also age. Which immigration office? Edit: just answered your PM. Your location is important for border bounce recommendations
  12. Good luck. Please update forum when you are back in Thailand.
  13. Good point. Something that I did not consider. May get worse as I no longer see places such as Savannakhet good option for Non O as not so simple. It's messy eVisa application.
  14. Don't follow. The thread is about border bounce not trip to Laos to obtain a Visa. Previously this was zero issue at Nong Khai. Seems now things have changed
  15. Has Zero appeal. The OP could consider places such as Vietnam that have had eVisa in place. This is for others eg OP. Skip plan for Non O eVisa in Laos. Outlined earlier In fact moving forward obtain non O in Thailand. Better option..
  16. Just a suggestion... You can obtain a 60 day extension to visit wife prior to your current permission of stay expiry. At some point you can do border bounce without reentry permit and obtain a visa exempt entry stamp. BTW that 60 can be extended by 60 days "to visit wife" as its a new entry. These extensions to visit wife would be to buy time to organize financials. From the visa exempt entry you can obtain a Non O marriage at local immigration office. Requires 400k in bank on day of application. That will provide a 90 day stamp. 30 days prior to expiry and having the 400k in bank for 2 months you obtain a 12 month extension. After extension is granted you can use the 400k I see very little purpose in guys obtaining non O at nearby consulates/embassies. Unless of course ME Non O is still available. Even then the financial requirements may make it redundant
  17. Post suggesting illegal activity removed
  18. Yes Sadly (at this point) NO Since you apply while in Laos that would require 2 trips to Laos. Also nobody knows process time at this point. BTW are you asking about Multiple Entry non O marriage? Just one person's opinion. I would skip idea of obtaining non O in Laos. An alternative is to apply for 12 month extension from your current permission of stay. Has requirements. eg 2 month seasoning if 400k on date of application.
  19. Thanks for update. What a ridiculous requirement. $16..seems you used "onwardticket.com". Some would not be aware of that option Thinking @Tod Daniels might be interested in this thread
  20. What? You can't enter Thailand at that crossing even if you stay overnight? Surely not.
  21. Not aware of any for Nong Khai as previously no issue there. The border bounce agents from Bangkok and Pattaya to Cambodia provide same day return.
  22. Consider that a "lost in translation" thing. There has never been specific requirement to return to home country flight. It's a "get out of dodge" flight.
  23. That is just a rogue request. First up it would only need to be flight out of Thailand (onward flight) and even that should not be required. Let the games begin.
  24. So this just happened to you now. Damn...would not have been such an issue if you had know. So seems these reports are solid now. One night stay required Nong Khai crossing. Did you try and offer some baht to obtain some flexibility?
  25. The OP is referring specifically to visa exempt entry to Thailand
