  1. Reentry Permit at BKK is obtained after security and prior to passport control. The desk is to left side of immigration ques. 1000b single reentry and 3800b multi. plus 200b if you opt for service assist Zone 2
  2. Critical information that has not been posted. OP?
  3. Reentry Permit has zero to do with return flight. Which airport are you exiting Thailand from. Since urgent best to obtain reentry permit at airport on day of departure. They also offer 200b service fee to take care of everything including photo for TM8
  4. Normally I cut one or two sentences. Your posts are over the shop. Clearly state you status in Thailand along with financial situation. Where is your location in Thailand? Also age. Which immigration office? Edit: just answered your PM. Your location is important for border bounce recommendations
  5. Good luck. Please update forum when you are back in Thailand.
  6. Good point. Something that I did not consider. May get worse as I no longer see places such as Savannakhet good option for Non O as not so simple. It's messy eVisa application.
  7. Don't follow. The thread is about border bounce not trip to Laos to obtain a Visa. Previously this was zero issue at Nong Khai. Seems now things have changed
  8. Has Zero appeal. The OP could consider places such as Vietnam that have had eVisa in place. This is for others eg OP. Skip plan for Non O eVisa in Laos. Outlined earlier In fact moving forward obtain non O in Thailand. Better option..
  9. Just a suggestion... You can obtain a 60 day extension to visit wife prior to your current permission of stay expiry. At some point you can do border bounce without reentry permit and obtain a visa exempt entry stamp. BTW that 60 can be extended by 60 days "to visit wife" as its a new entry. These extensions to visit wife would be to buy time to organize financials. From the visa exempt entry you can obtain a Non O marriage at local immigration office. Requires 400k in bank on day of application. That will provide a 90 day stamp. 30 days prior to expiry and having the 400k in bank for 2 months you obtain a 12 month extension. After extension is granted you can use the 400k I see very little purpose in guys obtaining non O at nearby consulates/embassies. Unless of course ME Non O is still available. Even then the financial requirements may make it redundant
  10. Post suggesting illegal activity removed
  11. Yes Sadly (at this point) NO Since you apply while in Laos that would require 2 trips to Laos. Also nobody knows process time at this point. BTW are you asking about Multiple Entry non O marriage? Just one person's opinion. I would skip idea of obtaining non O in Laos. An alternative is to apply for 12 month extension from your current permission of stay. Has requirements. eg 2 month seasoning if 400k on date of application.
  12. Thanks for update. What a ridiculous requirement. $16..seems you used "onwardticket.com". Some would not be aware of that option Thinking @Tod Daniels might be interested in this thread
  13. What? You can't enter Thailand at that crossing even if you stay overnight? Surely not.
  14. Not aware of any for Nong Khai as previously no issue there. The border bounce agents from Bangkok and Pattaya to Cambodia provide same day return.
  15. Consider that a "lost in translation" thing. There has never been specific requirement to return to home country flight. It's a "get out of dodge" flight.
  16. That is just a rogue request. First up it would only need to be flight out of Thailand (onward flight) and even that should not be required. Let the games begin.
  17. So this just happened to you now. Damn...would not have been such an issue if you had know. So seems these reports are solid now. One night stay required Nong Khai crossing. Did you try and offer some baht to obtain some flexibility?
  18. The OP is referring specifically to visa exempt entry to Thailand
  19. Off topic post re online reporting removed.
  20. Posts re online 90 reporting will be removed as off topic
  21. Think you will find that auto gates for visa exempt will only be made available when the proposed ETA is introduced and up and running.. When that is introduced is anyone's guess. Edit: ..From Mr Google.... "The ETA will allow a single entry and be valid for up to 60 days. Visitors can extend their stay by 30 days if needed. Those with an ETA can use automated immigration gates at checkpoints. By scanning the QR code on their ETA, travellers will be able to clear immigration more quickly."
  22. That is very true. Some put it down to possible "fake marriages of convenience" Guys (some) married to Thai national for many years would beg to differ. Rightfully so. imo
  23. I'm aware of the nonsense re "income letter" from embassies. Then Thai immigration wanted the income verified. So some embassies stopped providing them. Passport renewal is completely unrelated. There should be zero requirement to submit current pp in application process. What do they need it for.
  24. Long statement regarding legality of agents removed. I posted this early on... "Further posts re legality or otherwise of agents will be removed as off topic"
  25. What service are you looking for. https://aseannow.com/topic/1298468-good-visa-agency-in-chiang-mai/
