today I spent a few hours chatting up the farang totty down at the beach.
there were five girls, all below 25 and they were such a great laugh…
5 stunners, talk about tanning models, and all of them well educated.
we swam together, splashed about in the sea together and one of them even grabbed my bum!
I personally think foreign women are great, so easy to get along with and never any money asked for up front.
They are genuine people with hearts of gold.

In any event I don't see much difference to how it is now - I always buy my alcohol in the permitted hours.
So this applies to everyone (politicians included - is there a bar connected to parliament?)
What is the justification? Too many alcoholics, too many suffering from liver issues and stressing the medical system, government collecting too much tax on alcohol and want to help people save money
.🙃
They should just ban alcohol altogether in the interests of public health !!

or driver's Ed...like other countries do... Naahhh, much to simple.
If the police can't enforce the law and make drivers/riders stop at pedestrian crossings then the solution would be to install a steel grate to pop up from the road about a meter high at the crrossing to stop all vehicles. This would then retract after a certain time and allow everyone to continue their journey. This would be expensive but what price do you put on a life ??

IMO one of the tastiest simple dishes ever, especially the fried up leftovers.
I reckon rumbledthumps is better than colcannon.

You wouldn't call Singapore exactly a cool place .They have two racetracks and have race meetings every week. A lot of horses from Australia and Europe are there and while it might take them a while to get used to the humidity it doesn't seem to worry them too much.

It’s hard to ignore — in almost every discussion, there’s always that one member who seems to:
-
Moan endlessly
-
Nitpick over trivial details
-
Correct everyone else
-
Remind us (again) how much more they know
It’s like some people hit a certain age and suddenly feel compelled to point out every flaw, as if it keeps them relevant. And when they’re not correcting, they’re complaining — about how things used to be better, how we’re all doing it wrong, or how "kids these days" have it easy.
So let’s ask the real question:
Is this about wisdom — or insecurity?
Do some older members just need to feel heard, or feel smarter, because they’re scared of becoming irrelevant in a world that’s moved on?Not all older people behave this way, of course — some bring real value.
But others seem to thrive on being condescending for sport.
So, if this is hitting close to home... maybe ask yourself:
👉 Are you sharing wisdom, helping people — or just making noise? and a nuisanceI had a wife like that . She too was compelled to point out every flaw and that started right after we were married so I used to call her horse because all she used to do is nag nag nag.

First thing we learnt in general science at high school was isolate electrical equipment before working on it. In the modern world All power boards & outdoor elec supply must have auto cut off when power surges.
Poor young fellas just starting out in Life.
Standing in water when you are playing with electricity is not real smart. They were only young but should have known better.

I’ve been moving around a lot recently, been rural, city’s, beaches, mountains etc and the story remains the same..
Thai people seem so sullen & miserable.
No matter where I go it’s the same story. I usually keep myself to myself, but when I do have to interact with a local it’s like pulling teeth.
The only real positive experience i have had recently was with a bunch of Chinese women. They were gorgeous and genuinely friendly.
Thailand - up your game, lose the face masks or be prepared to lose your famous moniker..

Now that's eco friendly transport
I miss horseback riding, and PKK, being a bit too warm to have one IMHO. Cross my mind a few times to have one or two, as always have extra land. Heat turns me off every time.
What's so bad about that ?? I used to ride my horse15 miles to school through ice. snow and cyclones because my father could't afford to buy me a bike...it didn't hurt me.

Scrap it.
Casinos is the last what Thai people need.
Only some moguls smell the money what is in this business.
When you look at the picture of the roulette wheel the marble has landed on Zero which means that's what the Thai people will gain from casinos.Youu have just gotta look what happened in Cambodia. Sihanoukville is absolutely destroyed since they let the Chinese in with dozens of Casinos and 120 highrise buildings not finished and abandoned. The government won't be able to resist the big money Chinese gamblers and all the problems that come with it.

Recommendations 1 - 4 all involve extra cost.
Not saying they shouldn’t be done, if done transparently and effectively, but those things should be automatic and have been included in the review package prior to approval.
The scope for corruption in this is tremendous. Even in Singapore a cabinet minister was found guilty of corruption involving their F1 race, and Singapore is usually squeaky clean.
Of course, in their case once discovered corruption is investigated and punished. In Thailand a discovery of corruption, is an opportunity for more corruption. Here's Thailand's chance to hold a very unique F1 race. Instead of a boring old street race they could stage the world's longest race down Sukumvit Road. Starting at Nana plaza and finishing at Soi 6 in Pattaya via Beach Road and Walking street 448 kilometers. This would get world wide publicity and be a winner !! Good idea or what ??

Why is it that when we see cases like this some people suddenly start to blame someone else for tricking them or dobbing them in.?? the stupid old idiot knew what he was doing so it doen't matter how he got caught he's gotta just bend over and take his punishment.

Thailand is getting a bad reputation for people to come and make easy money 💰 🤑 on smuggling drugs Ie Marijuana. ( Cannabis )
To other countries
Why is that so you might ask. The answer is legalisation in thailand. Anybody can walk out of their hotel and look left and right and they have a choice of which shop to go to. I am not against weed and if you want to smoke it good luck to you but now with shops on every street corner where as before you might have had to fish around for it the temptation is there for people that would not be interested in it to try and make a quick dollar.a lot of these smuggling cases have come up lately and you've gotta wonder how they get past thai authorities as they depart.

The first time I visited Thailand seeing fat women in general wasn't common, so you're wrong. I haven't been to Pattaya since around 2018, and unlikely that I will ever visit again, but the last time I was there the amount of chubby women had gone up notably, just like most of the rest of Thailand (and many other parts of the world also).
