Yawn. Sorry, yet another nothing burger. The Senate leaders have already said they will throw this "impeachment" out quickly should it arrive based on this absurd, flawed process.

There is no doubt Pelosi would have warned al-Baghdadi just to rob Trump of a victory.

Even Pierre Delecto, aka Mitt Romney, is praising Trump.

The Washington Post called him an "Austere Religious Scholar." The WP was forced to change the headline due to the outcry of branding this terrorist a "scholar"

So Trump kicked a few butts and told his fellow Republicans to start fighting. It worked.
My guess is this coup attempt by the Dems will be stopped by political means. If not, there's always the military and police, both groups quite loyal to Trump. Doubt if he'll have to use them, though.

The Republicans will of course object to that too.
Looks like the Republicans taking over the SCIF had an impact.

Good for the Republicans who did this. It's about time they started fighting instead of giving up and "losing like a gentleman."
The Dems fight dirty; the Republicans need to start doing the same.

Another coddled State Department employee says something in secret, supposedly. Another nothing burger.
The process is flawed and the "impeachment" won't withstand the test if it ever gets to the Senate.

Plenty of support for Trump from those groups.

Another thing about any called witnesses that refuse to testify to congress. That won't stop this. It is happening. Also there is a legal angle where witnesses that refuse to testify can be labelled as trying to hide something negative. Obviously it would be best to hear from all called witnesses but the stonewalling has already failed.
The Republicans control the Senate. They won't call Trump. All this is assuming it even gets to the Senate. If the Dems with their "impeachment inquiry" go down the Ukraine road, the Senate will subpoena Biden and he WILL have to testify, right during his primary campaign. Trump himself will be allowed to interrogate Biden if Trump so desires.

I have a question about the impeachment. Will 45 be compelled to testify (privately and/or publicly) at any point in the process? Obviously with his obstruction of congress and persistent calling the impeachment process illegitimate (which is false, it is fully constitutional) he won't voluntarily testify during the house process. But assuming this goes through all the way to the end of a senate trial, won't he need to testify at some point (public or private) in the process? I don't know the answer is why I'm asking. Remember he was not forced to have a live interview during the Mueller investigation but instead providing written answers (mostly with I don't remember answers).
No, but Biden will.

Getting back to the OP. Any guesses how long it will take this "impeachment inquiry"?
After Inquiry began on Nixon it was 6 months later he resigned.
Clinton 4 months to impeachment.
So maybe Trump 2 months?
The entire articles of impeachment will simply read, "Orange Man bad."

But even without the china story, what happened in the Ukraine is already enough to make the whole USA look like a 3rd world country and to give Trump another term on the chair.
Yes, guaranteed. Even with all this "impeachment inquiry" nonsense going on, Trump is polling higher than either Biden or Warren in the key state of Iowa.

There will be no impeachment because Nancy doesn't have the votes. This is just another part of the smear campaign against Trump. They can't beat him on the issues so the smear campaign is all they have.
