  1. I don’t think many EV owners are virtue signalling, especially if it was made in China where we know Muslims are locked up, convicts are killed and their organs sold or prisoners are used to make commercial products. I am sure the average EV owner has given some thought to range anxiety, batteries catching fire and other issues. But we have considered the risks and decided to take that risk. When we bought ICE cars we had similar worries about different things. I had a sports car that was a supercharged V8 and it knocked on startup until the oil was flowing. I sold it before the warranty was up because I worried about it. There are always concerns but it’s about understanding them and making an informed decision.
  2. People with no experience with EV’s can think of 1,000,001 reasons not to have one. People who do have one generally think they’re wonderful and can discount all of those reasons. Ignorance vs experience.
  3. That was a joke as I know you were recently looking for one.
  4. The problem with old Toyota Vios, is the front windscreen have to be replaced
  5. The point I made was that his agent could be a driving school, until you understand the method by asking him, we don’t know. IMHO it’s probably not a driving school and it’s just another scammer. You pay him and suddenly he needs more money because of some new impediment and you end up with nothing.
  6. For sure there is cooling, maybe it’s underneath but all EV’s have cooling.
  7. You won’t find a charging station installed where there is no signal available. But bear in mind you can take a mobile signal 40km away with a cheap WiFi bridge setup.
  8. They have liquid cooling, I can’t say about radiators, maybe they do. I think the air conditioning unit is also used to cool the battery pack.
  9. Nissan thought they could air cool the batteries, they have premature battery aging and realised their mistake.
  10. You can’t authorise a debit card without a connection to the bank, this is done with a mobile signal. Likewise, the charger has to connect to its network to see whether you have any credit on your account with them, and also to keep statistics of charging sessions
  11. I would try thumping the passenger seat a couple of times next time it happens, it could just be a sticky sensor.
  12. You’re wrong. The agent could well be a driving school. The agent we used was in fact a driving school. A driving school is an agent. This is the dictionary definition of an agent… a person or thing that takes an active role or produces a specified effect.
  13. semantics, it could be either or both. You’re assuming and when you assume….
  14. That article is only partially true. Some manufacturers repair batteries by module. There is already one company in the USA repairing batteries and drivetrains that the manufacturer says are unrepairable. It’s only a matter of time before others crop up.
  15. Same Sex Relationship Problems
  16. I think you need therapy to understand your revulsion. Most people don’t find it appealing but it doesn’t make them want to puke. There is definitely something you need to get to the bottom of (excuse the pun), it’s not normal.
  17. Can I bring my ferret?
  18. You’re living two centuries too late, you’re a bigot
  19. Procreation is irrelevant, so you think all those animal species practicing homosexuality know procreation will not occur? It’s got nothing to do with it.
  20. Normal is what occurs in nature across many species, guess what? Gay is normal, albeit less frequent
  21. All this talk about alternative sexuality has got me questioning. I am no longer certain and am thinking about crossing the tracks and trying the alternative. Wimmin !!!
  22. If you live in a village where the roads are unmade and the tracks are full full of hotels, then you’re probably better off with a pickup truck, I don’t think it has anything to do with whether the car is an EV or not, it’s more to do with what is more suitable for the road, or lack thereof that it’s going to be driven on.
  23. I think we paid about 3,500 baht, they had no test, just lessons until the instructor was happy
  24. The op didn’t say that. How the agent handles it isn’t specified, we won’t know until you ask the agent.
