I attended a number of academic institutions, all of which pressed home the need to back up claims with credible evidence. So here’s your chance to show us how that’s done: “Labour are responsible for half that £175,000,000 + per person.” Let’s see you back that claim up with a credible link.

Labour did not oppose deportations, they opposed the immensely costly, ineffective and illegal Rwanda scheme. Labour getting g the job done without recourse to performative cruelty, stoking racism or stuffing wads of cash into the chums of Government ministers. I worked it out by dividing the number of migrant who volunteered to removed to Rwanda under the Tory Government’s Rwanda scheme by the cost of that scheme. £700,000,000 / 4 = £175,000,000 per person. Refer links I provided above. Your links?

Even if that £3000/person is true, it’s vastly cheaper than the £175,000,000 per person the Tories spent. Refer links I provided above.

Hogwash, the Tories had an unassailable majority in Parliament, neither Labour nor the combined votes of all opposition parties could come close to out voting the Government’s Rwanda plans. With such an unassailable majority the Tories came up with a plan that failed from the offset to deliver its stated objective. It did however line the pockets of a select few with large wads of public money. Some fell for it, others profited from it. In that sense it was a success.

There was, by example, the PPE scam was another plundering of the public purse to direct money into the pockets of Troy Government chums.

They were held accountable, they were voted out of office. Labour put at stop to the Rwanda scam.

Nice bit of false accountancy there. The Rwanda scheme was exactly the failure it was predicted to be. It wasn’t ‘sabotaged’ it was an ill conceived mess from the start, draining hundreds of £millions from the nation’s taxpayers for nothing more than performance. The costs associated are entirely attributable to the Government that came up with the obvious idiocy. People who swallowed the whole scam will of course wish to find others to blame.
