  1. The correct place to deal with such allegations is a court of law, the correct place t process to deal with such accusations is the criminal justice system. Not detention without charges, deportation without trial and all in direct contradiction to court orders from federal judges to the SCOTUS.
  2. What part of “I have no idea. Which is why I don’t say she is or isn’t’.” are you struggling to understand?
  3. I have no idea. Which is why I don’t say she is or isn’t’. I certainly refrain from wedging in off topic ‘kiddy fiddling’, ‘assault of constituents’ or generalized pejorative views of immigrants. Some just can’t control their need to engage in such triggered responses.
  4. Another example of your eagerness to leap to libel. Allegations are not convictions Jonny.
  5. And this triggers grievance driven outrage from a bunch of people who don’t live in that community.
  6. If you are a white British or American male and life’s not giving you the rewards you believe are your birthright, it’s not because some woman/immigrant/non white/LGBTQ or any other minority person robbed you of your life’s chances. You need to look a bit closer to home.
  7. Here you go: https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/features/2024-07-29/white-men-the-most-likely-to-get-hired-even-with-dei-finds-research
  8. If candidates for office, jobs etc were selected on merit alone, those holding these posts would be a ratio of gender, social class and race in proportion to the mix of these within the general population. The daily observation you refer to is that this is absolutely not the case.
  9. “Gaslighting in the extreme.” Thank you for providing such an excellent example of gaslighting.
  10. You prefer the Executive being above and beyond the law?
  11. Much of what Trump is doing is also unconstitutional. It’s very clear, Republicans used nationwide court injunctions against Biden but object to nationwide injunctions being used against Trump. Hypocrisy again.
  12. The fact you got the wrong end of that piece of history certainly did not escape me.
  13. Correct. The alternative is to have Government above the law. That never works out well, though some are up for more of it.
  14. Which is totally irrelevant to the point made. A point which incidentally was not ‘advocating rights’ but pointing out a long standing principle of U.K. law and governance. The lawyers (Barristers) are duty bound to represent the clients presented to them, again long standing principle of British justice. Go argue with someone who has made the points that upset you so much but as a suggestion, brush up on the principles of UK justice system first.
  15. You obviously missed some history classes. Neville Chamberlin didn’t unilaterally withdraw from any treaties.
  16. Those with insider knowledge did well. There’s video footage of Trump pointing some of them out in the Oval Office and giving the numbers.
  17. If only there was a treaty with Iran not to produce nuclear weapons.
  18. The UK is a nation of laws. Everyone, vile terrorists included, has a right to challenge the government on matters of the execution of the Government’s powers.
