  1. It’s not a law, it’s The Constitution of the United States. Hate Trump? What’s not to hate?
  2. Starmer understands something these ‘real Labour members’ you refer to don’t, there’s no point claiming to support leftwing political positions of you can’t win an election. Labour is electable under Starmer, it was not electable under Corbyn. On the subject of Brexit failure, Starmer has repeatedly signaled policy positions that will bring closer alignment of the UK to the EU. It’s an example of that essential political quality lacking in both leftwing and rightwing dogma - pragmatism.
  3. It doesn’t quite say it all. Washington are in no hurry at all to negotiate a trade deal with the UK.
  4. The bizarre thing here is the Government are refusing to handover evidence to the inquiry that they, the Government, established to examine the evidence. Nothing to hide, nothing to fear.
  5. On a number of policies the Tories are as far to the right as the BNP.
  6. So very often it’s the coverup that exposes the crime, and Corcoran is eager to talk about it. Jack be nimble, Jack be quick.
  7. Yep I agree A black man winning the Presidency and together with his black wife as First Lady. That really did trigger the hate.
  8. The significant issue here is not Biden waving the question of giving Trump a pardon. It’s the fact the news media are now accepting the very real possibility of Trump being in position to need a pardon. Trump being facing Justice is now undeniably a news item.
  9. Being more restrictive on borders than the Tories isn’t difficult is it? They’ve lost control of the UK’s borders with zero input from the EU. Another BREXIT failure.
  10. Being the other half of the election partnership that decisively defeated Trump at the ballot box.
  11. I think breaking 29 Ties in the Senate is an achievement, though I accept those enamored with the idea of government crippled by Republican intransigence might disagree. https://www.senate.gov/legislative/TieVotes.htm
  12. I’m not going to argue with you about gaslighting of Brexit not yet finished. You obviously missed out on the merchandising. https://amp.theguardian.com/politics/2020/jan/28/got-brexit-done-tory-party-sells-12-tea-towel-in-celebration https://www.gov.uk/government/speeches/prime-ministers-statement-on-eu-negotiations-24-december-2020
  13. No, Farage is no buddy of mine, I’ve already said I despise the man. But as you said it is important to consider information from sources of a differing political view point. I did, and Farage very clearly said ‘Brexit has failed’. On that point I have no disagreement with Farage. Not a sunlit upland pasture insight. Brexit has failed.
  14. Thank you. I didn’t like to say so myself, I’m rather reticent when it comes to blowing my own trumpet.
  15. Educated people understand the principle of ‘simultaneous equations’. Ans to be frank, even that doesn’t require a lot of education’.
  16. Anybody who thinks the IRS will go after people who don’t owe taxes doesn’t understand the idea of owing/not owing taxes.
  17. I don’t agree it is all too often a waste. Americans across the country are welcoming the ‘Build Back Better’ programs in their districts, especially those in rural and remote communities. So much better than giving tax breaks to the already hyper wealthy.
  18. Try running a business without a road transport system, staff with no education, unreliable power supplies or snail place internet.
  19. Germany -0.5% UK +0.3% Delta 0.8% And Germany already well ahead on post pandemic recovery.
