  1. And the next time they spoke, they had recognized the error of their ways.
  2. Not something Trump would ever do.
  3. “So what is it that appeals to quite so many that they will deny what they see with their own eyes or hear with thier own ears in the defence of this man?” He validates their hatred and thirst for cruelty.
  4. Placeholder is quoting Trump’s clamors of ‘unprecedented fraud’ which Trump posted in capitals.
  5. As I said earlier: ”This is what Trump, MAGA and Trump supporters have become, a movement to overthrow the Constitution of the United States.”
  6. It’s a question that needs to be put to every single Republican candidate for office: Do you condemn Donald Trump’s call to terminate the Constitution, yes or no? Trump supporters need to speak up against Trump’s call to terminate the Constitution or be owned by it.
  7. Here’s a thing. Trump has openly stated he sees cause to overthrow the Constitution, the ‘cause’ he sees is his own lies about the election being stolen/election fraud. And yet Trump is running for election as a Republican, he has the support of many Republicans, he has the support of the MAGA movement and the support of many here on this forum. All these people are supporting a man who has openly stated he wishes the Constitution of the United States to be Terminated. This is what Trump, MAGA and Trump supporters have become, a movement to overthrow the Constitution of the United States. There is not one patriot among them.
  8. His attempts to encourage others to overthrow the result of the election and now to o overthrow the Constitution are everything but legitimate.
  9. ‘Melting down’ as in engaging in a violent insurrection to overthrow the result of the election? But listen up, the pain hasn’t even got started yet. Jack Smith is on Trump’s tail. Enjoy.
  10. Excellent information. I’ll look into this. Thank you for taking the time to post.
  11. Well I’ll give you, Trump is fighting for his freedom.
  12. Incidentally, bang goes the ‘I wasn’t trying to incite insurrection’ defense.
  13. I think this is it. I’ve pulled the cherry tomato plants out and will plant a different crop. I’m also going to trial the cherry to in sterilized soil/compost. I’ve made a sterilizer out of two steel drums, one with a few inches of water in it sits on a fire, the other is perforated to allow steam to pass and I’ve put a soul and compost mix I there. Worth a try I think.
  14. How we stick to the topic under discussion rather than chewing over election results Republicans already lost?
  15. “In a 52-48 referendum this would be unfinished business by a long way. If the remain campaign win two-thirds to one-third that ends it.” But before you go wandering too far off topic, you do know how a run-off arises don’t you?
  16. Naturally the The Georgia Republican Party, the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the Republican National Committee did there best to prevent voters from being given easy Saturday access to casting their vote: Thankfully their efforts to hinder voting access failed. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/republicans-try-to-stop-saturday-voting-in-ga-senate-runoff-raphael-warnock-herschel-walker/
  17. Link to source please. Oh and, welcome to the forum. Always good to see new members.
  18. Trump hasn’t been ‘inserted’ into this thread, he’s the subject of the thread. A former President calling for the overthrow of the U.S. Constitution is worthy of discussion don’t you think?
  19. He’s getting desperate. His seditious rant came right on the heals of news that former Trump WH Counsel Pat Cipollone has given six hours of testimony to the Grand Jury examining evidence of Trump’s crimes. Cipollone’s claim of ‘executive privilege’ was quashed by the appeal court and he sang like a canary. Unless of course anyone believes he spent 6 hours repeating his 5th Amendment rights.
  20. It’s a quote from Newt Gingrich. Refer article at the top of this thread.
  21. “Republicans must learn to quit underestimating President Joe Biden.” Republicans might want to have a go at coming up with some policies that aren’t based on distracting those marginally above poverty with hatred of those less fortunate while handing tax breaks to the hyper wealthy.
