The Unwavering Support for Hamas: A Moral Blind Spot
Chomper Higgot replied to Social Media's topic in World News
It’s an accusation that is frequently leveled against anyone who supports the rights of Palestinians and an end to the war. -
I’m not interested in your accusations and name calling. Beyond exposing your lack of arguments and clear discomfort over the way things are going they are just background noise. You have a President who’s referring to himself as a King to defend. Put together some arguments that don’t comprise whataboutary and playground insults and we’ll discuss.
-
Ludicrously you accuse me of deflecting when I call out your own attempt at deflection. Your personal attacks suggest you aren’t very secure in your arguments. That you aren’t aware of Trump referring to himself as a King is only an indication of the bubble you are in. My thoughts on the matter is he’s saying exactly what he believes.
-
What is not confusing is your aversion to discussing Trump other than to repeat the nonsense he’s fed you. Harris was definitely not speaking at CPAC. I think we both want some of the same things for America, prosperity, peace and liberty are, I hope things upon which we agree. I don’t ever discuss my family in this forum, consistently advise others not to. How do you feel about Trump referring to himself as a King?
-
Again, nothing at all to do with Harris. On Trump’s trying to keep his promises, there is little evidence of this. He’s already walking back his inflation pledges, wars aren’t going to end in 24hrs, America isn’t getting ‘great again’. The outcome of his policies is yet to be seen. Meanwhile he’s referring to himself as a King.

I don’t agree with everything but overall a very good post. I detest the Tories, but I’m the first to acknowledge their ability to win elections, they will be back and of course Badenoch will be gone first. Reform UK are reliant on one man, Farage. He won’t last. The Tories will be back, though I doubt in the next election.

The perspective of someone who doesn’t have a vote in the U.S. Three gaps are appearing, Trump’s pre-election promises and his post election actions. Trump’s policies and their outcome. And these are creating the third, MAGA expectations and the reality that is dawning on them. It turns out cuts to jobs included MAGA jobs, cuts to welfare include MAGA welfare, slashing regulations included regulations protecting MAGA. And all from a President now referring to himself as a King. Its going to get ugly.
