[Trigger warning, this post includes the word ‘asylum’]. I suspect someone is telling Truss what to do, and the Hunt for that matter. Or are we to believe Truss suddenly took a liking to people who opposed her appointment, and that Hunt, who couldn’t get 20 MPs to nominate him in the Leadership Contest suddenly has the authority to wipeout all of Truss’ policies? It’s my opinion that someone has decided it’s not a good idea to let the lunatics run the asylum.

Again, I’m not a member of the Tory Party, I get to have zero say in who will inevitably replace Truss. I doubt anyone on this forum does.

I think you’ll find outdoor exercise was recommended. I never missed a single cycle training session throughout the lockdowns, like most cyclists I know I increased my time and kms on the bike. I never said ‘staying in the EU’ I pointed out the damage being done by the totally unnecessary Tory decision to leave the Customs Union, which nobody voted for. If you are going to make a claim of attending 2 of the Best British Universities as part of your argument then you’ll accept the criticism that they didn’t introduce you to the importance of addressing the arguments made, not the arguments you wish were made.

Your assertion of misogyny is in need of evidence that the criticisms of Truss are made on the basis of her gender and not on her abundant failings. Nobody is becoming ‘hysterical’ every time she makes a decision, though she has been known to spook the financial markets.

The Uk could have left the EU but remained in the Customs Inion (you recall the ‘Norwegian Option’). But that’s not what the ERG wanted, so the Tories opted for the hardest Brexit they could get. No body voted to be poorer, but poorer they are.
