I can’t help thinking, Johnson must be loving this.

The Tory Party has been riven with division for over a decade. Cameron only offered the Brexit Vote in order to try to prevent the Tory Party splitting up, all it achieved was damage to the country while the extreme rightwing of the Conservatives went back to fighting the moderates. The whole nation self harming because of this bunch of corrupt self serving money grubbers.

They weren’t idiot policies of a loony PM.

This is the voting issue that matters. Non of the idiocy in the Truss-Kwarteng budget was included in the Conservative Manifesto at the last election. The upshot of that is nobody voted for any of it and they certainly did not vote for the consequences of the idiot budget either.

You have a great deal more faith in Government than do I.

Pensions are an essential part of financial planning for millions, life long commitments that people regard as their security in old age - A Tory Government has put that at risk, it will not be easily forgotten. More immediately, mortgage interest rates are going up, notifications are already going out. It wasn’t a mistake, it was series of deliberate moves culminating in the ‘Kamikaze Budget’. 1st the sacking of Sir Tom Scholar permanent secretary at the Treasury, to clear the decks for the idiocy to come. 2nd The refusal to accept a OBR impact analysis and lie about it not being available. 3rd The absence of a fiscal plan and then lying about it being available. 4th Announcing massive un costed tax cuts non of which were at all necessary that overwhelmingly benefitted the already wealthy and lying about it. Non of this was a mistake, they were the actions of an idiot ideologue drunk on power. The polls disagree with you on Labour.

It’s not the opposition tanking the economy, firing ministers and doing U-turns on policies that were only a few days ago touted as the way to get the UK back into ‘Growth Growth Growth’.

After this week’s PMQs the opposition benches erupted in cheers, laughter and calls of ‘Encore Encore’ as Truss left the dispatch box. Un edited videos of Truss speeches are being used as opposition campaign material. There’s no need to add anything, just let her speak and let the voting public hear for themselves what a dullard she is.

This is one of those topics that I hope you’ll forgive me for not reading past the headline.

I don’t know many people who are unable to grasp the idea that the death of a human being is something someone always cares about. In fact I don’t know any. I’m left wondering, what kind of mind set even contemplates the idea of nobody caring about the life of another human being. But then I remember, it’s refugees, asylum seekers and migrants you are talking about.
